Holiday Traditions with Hickory Farms do you have some to share?

Holiday Traditions with Hickory Farms do you have some to share?

I love Holiday Traditions and being from Germany I have lots of different traditions to share with my family and all of you. I try each and every year to incorporate and reinforce traditions from my home country Germany. It is a fun way to bring a different culture into the American Christmas tradition.

One thing that I have always remembered ever since I moved to the US almost 20 years ago is Hickory Farms. I’ve seen their sausages at almost every Christmas party, under almost every Christmas tree and every mall we visit during the Christmas season there is always a Hickory Farms stand somewhere, to this day Hickory Farms products are a favorite of mine and have to be part of the American Christmas tradition or it will not be Christmas time.

Someone always gets a package of Hickory Farms and it never ever gets old, you can always bet that they know what they are getting but always get as excited as a child when they open their package. Do you have that person in your family, too? It’s totally a Christmas tradition.

We have lots of traditions from our elf Becky to our Advent calendars to St. Nikolaus visiting our house on December 6th to fill our boots as well as the Christmas angel checking up on us on Christmas Eve, traditions are wonderful thing and they always should be kept alive from generation to generation.

Our Christmas Season starts with Thanksgiving dinner and starting to decorate for Christmas and the first Sunday after Thanksgiving is usually the kick off to the first Advent along with our Elf visiting for the first time of the season. We love our little traditions, we are super busy and love having Hickory Farms helping us out whether it be as a gift, making some snacks or just as a simple dinner idea, they are always ready to help a helping hand with over 60 years of traditions on their back they sure can tell a story or two, too.

So this holiday season I would love to hear your traditions,
let’s share them below.
I can’t wait to hear all about your family.

Compensation and products for review were provided by Hickory Farms via MomTrends. I received a free sample of the product for the purpose of this review and to facilitate a giveaway.  The opinions expressed herein are those of the author and are not indicative of the opinions of Hickory Farms

We used to decorate the house together every Christmas. As a kid I would have rather been out playing, but I see today why we did it as a family. We do the same thing with our kids. We decorate the house and put up the tree together as a family.
