Have I told you lately that I love the Holiday Season? It’s the most beautiful time of the year. Every year we celebrate the Advent Season leading up to Christmas Eve. Does your family celebrate Advent? It’s just a magical time and I have found memories of it as a Child living in Germany. Advent is a big deal. We bake cookies together, we make crafts and we sing as a family and every Sunday leading up to Christmas, starting with the last Sunday in November we light a candle to sweeten the wait for Christmas.
This year I have a lot of fun activities planned that we will do. My first one is this super fun, cute and so easy Chocolate Christmas Tree. I saw it come through my Pinterest feed a few weeks ago and fell in love with how Debbie from One Little Project created these cute little Christmas trees out of Peanut Butter cups.

Since I’m part of a Pinterest group that makes pins that we like and add a little twist to give you addl. options on how to make the original pin, I decided the Peanut Butter Chocolate Trees were it for me and they turned out great!
Such an awesome family time, perfect for the Holiday or Advent season to keep the kids busy while mom is finishing up a meeting with Santa. My daughter had a blast, she made the trees all on her own, she is 8. So, grab a few kids and have a blast this holiday season.

This is what you need for each tree:
-
2 Large size Peanut Butter Cup
-
2 Mini Peanut Butter Cups
-
1 Chocolate Kiss
-
½ Cup Chocolate melts in a plastic bag, color of your choice
-
Cookie candy decor
-
Unsweetened coconut shavings
This is how to make the tree:
-
Melt your candy melts in a small plastic bag, microwave 30 seconds, mush around in the bag and microwave for another 30 seconds, if not melted all the way add 10 more seconds, leave in microwave for a few minutes and it will melt nicely. Cut tip off on one corner (small cut)
-
Take the mini Peanut Butter cup, add a drop of melted chocolate, place large Peanut Butter cup on top.
-
Add a drop of melted chocolate, add another large peanut butter cup, one more drop of chocolate and add a small peanut butter cup.
-
Add a drop of melted chocolate and place chocolate kiss on top.
-
Take the melted chocolate and decorate the outside of your Peanut Butter Cup tree, sprinkle with Christmas candy as you like.
-
Place each finished tree on a bed of unsweetened coconut shavings to make it look like a forest.
Wasn’t this simple? I thought they were so cute and since the kids can make these, it will be a lot of fun for everyone. Think Christmas parties, think family craft night, they will be a hit.

Another fun thing you could do is put each tree on a small cardboard square, add some coconut shavings and wrap with a clear foil and hand them out as gifts to teachers, friends and everyone in your neighborhood. Small, simple and very affordable and everyone will love their Chocolate Christmas Tree.

There you have my Pin remake for the month, it turned out very very well, I’m excited because they are just so darn cute!
