Avocado Shrimp Brown Rice Bowl #SweetNewYear

It’s another cold day here in Central Florida and while I’m longing for the sunshine I had plenty of time to create a few better for you dinner ideas. As most of you know this year I made it my resolution to make something good or different every day. I’ve share a few new recipes over the last few weeks and todays dinner ideas is yet another one of those “Ahhh why haven’t I made this sooner” ideas. I try to get away from fast food and pre-cooked meals, although we will not cut them out altogether but we are making an effort.

truvia at walmart

I picked up my weekly fresh produce and groceries at Walmart when my son texted me that he wants rice for dinner a few times this week. Well, I love rice, but rice alone will not make a meal just yet. Did you know that you can make rice in many different ways with different add ins and still have a different meal each night? I love it. So, since he wants rice I made my meal plan around that and picked up the things I needed along with some stables like Truvia Natural Sweetener Spoonable. That’s another good change for the week for my family. Have you tried it yet?

So after I finished my shopping I checked what I had in the fridge and between my fresh produce at Walmart and the fresh shrimp in the fridge I knew that would make a good dinner idea that would be balanced, nutritious and delicious. It would also be a super fast dinner, so if you are a working Mama or a soccer Mom, you still can dish up a simple home cooked meal that you will feel good about.

See how easy it was to dish up a fresh meal in no time? I love substituting things in my pantry to make the dinners a little better for the entire family and thanks to me discovering Truvia Natural Sweetener Spoonable a few weeks ago, I feel like I made the right choice. Truvia Spoonable has been wonderful in all our dishes, not only the sweet ones. The Truvia Natural Sweetener Spoonable is Natural, that is my favorite thing, but it was also the perfect balance for my Shrimp Soy sauce and it made me feel good feeding my family a nutritious meal.

The Truvia Spoonable was so easy to use, with the container it comes in and perfect to cook with. We love the taste, there is no lingering after taste, just pure goodness. We are happy to made Truvia Spoonable our new addition in the kitchen this year and can’t wait to include it in many more recipes to come.

This meal was wonderful and enjoyed by everyone. Fairly affordable and so easy to make but has all the nutrients your family needs. Took me no time at all to dish up dinner, so make it a point to dish up at least 1 home cooked dinner a week to make a change for your family this year. Do you dish up home cooked meals every day?

That looks absolutely delicious. I need to do more rice bowl type recipes, and you’re so right that you can swap it up easily with different mix ins. This version looks great! #client

What a fantastic recipe! I’ve only used Truvia in sweet dishes and coffee and tea – never in a savoury dish – and boyoboy do I feel left behind!
