Fresh meals are very important to me and my family and I decided to share a few of our favorite recipes below on my Meal Plan. I also have to let you know that this post was sponsored by Fresh From Florida as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central, however all ideas are as always my own and not influenced by anyone. Now that we cleared the logistics, check out why I love living in Florida and what I dish up for my family.

I just love living in Florida (I know I keep saying that… It is truly an amazing place you should come visit sometime!!), it’s always sunny, warm, tropical and we can grow almost all the fruit and veggies we need for our fresh homemade meals.
The only thing I don’t like… I can not grow a thing! You see, I wasn’t born with a green thumb like so many of my fellow Floridians. I tried many times but I think the growing is better left to the pros.
However, it makes it all the better that Fresh From Florida fruits and veggies are available at almost every local grocery store from Publix to Walmart and little Mom and Pop stores in between. I never have to worry where my produce comes from, they are clearly marked with large signs informing me of the Florida Department of Agriculture’s locally grown produce.

We love a good Tomato Salad and enjoy chilled Watermelon in the summer, the sweet corn is always delicious whether on it’s own, fresh off the cob, in salads or as a side dish. You name it and we love it! Blueberries are currently in season and what better way than to start your morning with a homemade pancake and blueberry breakfast. My daughter loves it!
Not only do we have amazing homegrown fruits and vegetables down here in Florida, we also have amazing seafood, right from our own backyard. Daily fresh and ready to be dished up.
Makes it easy for me to create healthy meals for the entire family. The quality and price can’t be beat and that makes me proud to have chosen Florida as my home and to be able to purchase Fresh From Florida products. I can’t imagine living anywhere else and having access to all the fresh fruit and produce that Florida has to offer.

I love to look around the Fresh From Florida website with all their recipe ideas and sharing information about what food is in season, ready to be dished up on your dinner plate. Makes it easy to buy everything locally and in season so we always know it’s the freshest and ripest it can be.

Our Meal Plan for the week totally revolves around the Fresh from Florida fruit and veggies that are at their peak this week. So I ventured out and looked for recipe ideas that include ingredients seasonally grown in Florida like Blueberries, Tomato, Sweet Corn, Watermelon and even a Seafood dish or two. Check it out below and see how easy dinners can be if you include a few Fresh from Florida locally grown fruits and veggies.
