I don’t think I even have to Introduce the “Little Critter’s”; I’m sure most of you at one time or another seen their books and feel in love with that “Little Critter”. We had the pleasure to review the newest edition called

Little Critter’s The Night Before Christmas

This “Little Critter’s The Night Before Christmas is written by Mercer Mayer and it is a retelling of popular Clement C. Moore’s classic holiday poem. Yet Mercer Mayer changed a few words to fit the Little Critter’s it is still very close to the traditional poem. However the kids love the adventures and stories of the “Little Critter’s” and that makes this a wonderful Christmas addition in any home.

Each page has the traditional Little Critter’s character drawings and pictures along with the poem. It is just too cute, we had a blast reading this book and pull it out almost every day to read it again. My toddler now can almost recite the book on her own and she is not even 3 yet.

This book is also wonderful for early readers and of course any one else as well. I was quit impressed with this book and had totally forgotten about the Big sticker on the front cover “Includes a CD recording of the holiday Classic”. So I just pulled it out and to my surprise it has the entire book reading along with music in the background. I loved it. Now when I don’t have the time to sit down and read out loud with my toddler I can pop the CD in and someone will read it to her and she can still follow in her book, or listen to the story while she plays with her babies or gets ready for bed.

The CD is just a wonderful addition to this already great book.
