This week is a little different Book review, usually I have children’s books, this week I have a cook book. I love cook books, and I came across a bunch of different ones and I must say, when I got a message from Angela Breidenbach, the author of Creative Cooking for Simple Elegance, I was curious to see if this book holds up to my standards, cheap and great recipes that my readers would enjoy.
I got this book about a week ago and this is the First book EVER that I can’t wait to make ALL the recipes for. Each recipe comes with a picture, not a picture that is “fake”, we all know the cookbooks that have wonderful pictures and when you cook it at home it never looks the same…. the pictures in this book look just like “homemade” cooking. Simple yet elegant. I truly love the book.
How about Simple Scratch Chicken Soup, or Simple Steak Stroganoff? There are 31 delicious easy recipes, with tips and tricks and hints to switch up each recipe, in this book. But that’s not all Angela has tips, info and recipe adaption in her book for IBD (Irritable Bowl Disease), Celiac ( Gluten Free), weight Loss and even a chapter of Creative cooking for Colitis, with difficult food list and helpful websites for IBD & Colitis sufferers. This is just a wonderful book for anyone suffering with Allergies, food intolerance or any
“normal” person.. I’m truly in love with this book and can clearly see the time and effort Angela has put into this book. Looking at the book it feels like you can see the “love” Angela put into this book and to me it’s like any other “just another book”… it’s hard to describe how the book feels, but sure made a big impression with me and my family and we will keep this book as part of our meal plans for a long time to come.

Thank you for loving my cookbook! That’s the whole reason I wrote it 🙂 I wanted to add real value to the lives of others.
Crystal, I’ve made all these recipes for my family regularly so I actually made them wait to eat until I’d photographed the dishes. Lol, you should have seen them when they were hungry. One funny comment my grown daughter made was about the Beef Orzo. She said, “I don’t remember this one.” Uh, no, honey you don’t. I created it after you moved out. So she determined I needed to make it for her so she could test it! I can honestly say all these recipes are family tested and approved 😀
Thank you so much for sharing about Creative Cooking for Simple Elegance.

I’m on a group blog with Angie, so I can attest to the fact that she made the dishes and took the photos. She would share them with us as she took them, and my mouth would water! 🙂
Great review. Thanks for sharing.
