All your “Stores” in a row with the Catalogue App from TheFind

April 28, 2012 By Melanie Roberts 2 Comments

I just love online shopping…its so convenient for a busy mom and I can shop 24/7. The only thing I don’t like is that I have to go to all my favorite stores websites and look at their current sale or catalog. Kind of a pain since I love to compare prices and look for cool new products. There has to be a better way and I think I found one. If you have an iPhone of iPad or even a Kindle, there is a super cool App that I’m currently testing to see how I like it. I wanted to tell you guys about the App before I get too involved in shopping, but will also give feedback in a few weeks what I think after using the App for a period of time.

You can search by Stores and keep your favorite Store Saved or…..

You can search by Brands that your family enjoys and also keep them in your favorites. image

So far I’m liking it, installation was super easy, just went to the iTune store and downloaded the Catalogue App Free of charge, once I had the App installed I was a bit surprised. I have almost ALL of my favorite stores in on App; Best Buy, Tillys, and even Kmart is available on the App along with over 95 catalog merchants featuring 175-200 issues inside the app including fashion, beauty, home, kids to choose from. WOW… and all in one single App!!

The hardest part was to see which catalog I wanted to view first. I decided on checking out Kmart since I’m familiar with their store and circular and to my surprise it was a breeze to maneuver around the App. I was able to slide the pages just like a catalog but if I wanted to see a price I was directed to a all products page and I was able to see what else Kmart had to offer; once I was ready to inspect the product further I was directed to the Website which had the product for sale on Kmart.com for that instance.

Super easy to use and makes comparison shopping a breeze. I also love that I only have to download one single App, which gets updated a few times a day with new releases instead of one App per store. I love Ikea and many other stores and wish they all had their catalogue’s be part of the Catalogue App, would save me a lot of space on my iPad and less clicking around; and a HUGE time saver as well.

Available on the iPad only, users can use the camera view function to help visualize how items from a specific catalog can fit into your living space. As the item is selected, the iPad’s camera places the item anywhere within the room where it can be scaled and moved. The image can then be shared with friends via Facebook or email; How super cool is that. Totally interactive.. LOVING it already and haven’t even started to shop yet….

For more information about the APP be sure to visit TheFind on the Web or follow on Facebook and Twitter or read TheFind Blog to stay up to date with the newest catalogues and deals. Download your FREE App HERE. You can also download a trial Version and play with the Catalogue App on Facebook before you install it on your system; however this is only a small portion available on the trial version, so if you have a way to get the full version, really nothing to loose…so grab it and start shopping at your favorite store…

Did you know?
5.6 million tons of catalogs and other direct mail advertisements end up in U.S. landfills annually. TheFind is partnering up with CatalogChoice.org to help reduce the number of unwanted catalog subscriptions and save natural resources. To find out more, visit us at TheFind.comimage

I’m off to see how easy the purchasing part is through the APP and how easy it is to manage checkout and I will report back to you in a few days; until then Happy Shopping…..

“I am part of the a Catalogue The Find Ambassador Program and  this shop has been compensated; however all opinions and ideas are 100% our own and the compensation did not influence our post or view about the App/Product.”
