An adorable Strawberry Shortcake #Costume and $50 Gift Card #Giveaway Trick or Treat

Halloween is a short few days away and we finally decided on what my Princess wants to be this year. Usually I try to create something out of the goodwill store, like a scarecrow, a punk or even a rock queen, but my princess had something else in mind.

She couldn’t figure out what she wanted, but she was adamant that I would not be allowed to make her outfit this year, I sure hope she’s not embarrassed by me already?

I did a few searches to find some online costume stores to see if I can find something that would both fit my wallet and her champagne taste.

Shipping only took a few days, to my surprise and when the outfit arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the outfit. My princess decided on Strawberry Shortcake and the strawberry pail that goes along with it. We skipped the wig, because my princess already has red hair and freckles.

I can honestly say that I’m very impressed with the outfit. The dress fits perfect, an A-line style dress and the tights even have sparkles. The details are very special and make this entire outfit super cute. Since we had this super cute outfit and no place to go, we decided to head over to Orlando for Trick or Treat at SeaWorld. What a blast we had! I’m not sure if Shamu or my little Strawberry Shortcake where the “real” attraction. We got stopped every few seconds and people had to check out her costume. It was a lot of fun to hear people whisper “Ohh…. there is Strawberry Shortcake, isn’t she adorable”.

I loved that she was the only one with this very cute outfit; it looked like a million bucks, but sure didn’t cost me that much. LOVED it!! Now, she will be able to wear this as a dress up outfit long after Halloween is over, too. Another plus for this outfit was, it wasn’t hot. Living in Florida during Halloween season always proofs to be a challenge. There are so many cute outfits out there but most are way too hot for Florida, so this outfit being light and very comfortable was a plus. I can’t even get her to take it off, that’s how much she loves it. No poking or itching on that outfit at all. Superb quality and very well made.
