As a faithful follower you know I love my coffee and my hot chocolate, no matter what time of the day or what season. I dream them hot, cold over ice and all different flavors and recipes. I’m somewhat a coffeeholic and have to stop at one of those drive thru places at least 3 times a week, well we all know how that goes. I love my specialty brew, my fancy schmancy flavors and my personalized drinks. I’m sure you can relate.
As a busy mom the stop at the coffee shop is usually the only splurge I do without feeling guilty on spending money on myself, I know a bad habit, but hey we all have our little sins, right? At Christmas time my hubby bought me a gift card and once I used that in like a few days I knew something had to change. I couldn’t blow money like that on just a cup of coffee or hot chocolate and my friend mentioned she was in love with her very own Ninja Coffee Bar and couldn’t live without it. I’ve had many coffee makers and somewhat specialty gadgets and wasn’t sure if I really wanted another machine in the house. I do love gadgets but in the end, they all will do the same, right?
Well, I spend some time researching, reading up and checking out if the new Ninja Coffee Bar is really anything different and something I really have to have, in the end… YES.. as you can tell I fell in love and tried it at a few friends houses first and it was a coffee bar that is truly that a bar, something for everyone. You can do all the fancy specialty drinks, cold brewed over ice or hot, you can make a single serve or an entire carafe, whatever your need the Ninja Coffee Bar is by your side. After many tries, testing and reading I brought the newest gadget home and it’s been in use now a good 8 weeks and I’m in love. Everyone in the house is in love.
The Ninja is not a big bulky machine, it’s rather slim, but comes with a coffee scoop, glass carafe, milk frother, and tumbler for all your coffee needs. I also love that it comes with option of permanent filter or you could replacement filters, you do get a different experience with different filters, just all depends on your likes.

Caramel Macchiato Recipe

3 Tablespoons ground coffee

1/2 Cup Milk

2 TBSP caramel sauce and grains for garnish no top
Brew your coffee and if using the Ninja Coffee Bar select specialty brew. Add milk & caramel sauce to your Frother. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Remove from microwave and pump frother once lid is secure 15 times. When your brew is finished pour frother mixture over top and drizzle with additional caramel sauce and toppings.
Chocolate Coffee

Select Single Cup Size

Add 2 tbsp. of Dark Chocolate Syrup to bottom of mug

Set Brewer to Rich Brew and let brew.

In the frother add your half and half, put in microwave for 60 seconds and then using the attachment pump the milk 15 times.

Pour foamed milk mug, over the coffee.

Top with whipped cream and chocolate syrup.
