Merry Sparkling Christmas

This book is written by Elizabeth Spurr and Illustrated by Colleen Madden. This 6×6 board book may be small in size, but it sure is mighty big with my toddler. The size of the book makes it a wonderful book for younger children to hold and to look but the story also makes it an interesting and fun book for the older children.

Each page is full of glitter and sparkle and depending on how you hold it it shimmers in different colors at different angles. My toddler was mesmerized with this book and I have to admit, I was, too. Who wouldn’t be there is so much to see on the pages.

The story is very cute, written in  a poem style like ” Things that sparkle, things that shine, I reach out to make them mine”….

This is truly a sparkling holiday tale, with icicles hanging from the eaves, a holly wreath that twinkles, shiny toys, treats with glitter sprinkles, and other Christmas favorites that sparkle. This festive story is sure to bring a twinkle or two to your eye.

We enjoyed reading this book and will be a favorite in our house for a long time to come. You can purchase your own copy of this book, which would make a wonderful stocking stuffer or a gift for needy children through Amazon.com or any of your favorite book stores.
