Calphalon Contemporary Bronze Nonstick 10-pc. Cookware Set {Review}

For years I’ve thought the cheap cookware is just as good as the more expensive cookware. After all, if you burn something or mess up a dish you probly will toss the pan out anyways, why spend big bucks for something that you will toss, right?

Boy was I wrong, I would have never known the difference between the expensive high quality cookware if Calphalon wouldn’t have asked me to take the challenge and see how we like the high quality product that they sell.

We received this fancy Calphalon Contemporary Bronze Nonstick 10-pc. Cookware Set in the mail and at first I told hubby, who is the cook in the house, NOT to touch it; I was afraid he would break it, mess it up or scratch it. Yup, we had it sitting on the counter for a few days and it sure looked pretty. But then I started to think…. pretty? You really pay that kind of money for something that just looks pretty?

Well, I talked myself into using one pan, I was so afraid that I would mess up the non stick coating, or maybe break the handle, the lid or burn my food and then what….?

Now doesn’t this look amazing? Sturdy, high quality and just screams cook me a dinner. So we decided to start using this instead of our “cheapo” dollar store cookware.

I must say, I was quit impressed, the non stick coating is amazing; I’ve used the “non” stick coating before, at least so I thought, but this stuff is fantastic. Nothing will stick, not even the mushrooms that we browned without butter, or how about the butter, nothing burned or burned into the pan at all!! We made a cheese sauce for macaroni and cheese the other day and that is always a nightmare with burned cheese or milk on the bottom of the pan, check it out, I was so impressed that I had to take a pic and show it off….

This is what quality Non Stick coating looks like.. AMAZING!.. I loved it, we started to use this cookware every night and with each dinner I grew more comfortable to the more expensive cookware set and decided that from now on to create an amazing dinner, cheap cookware just isn’t cutting it. We didn’t burn any food in the Calphalon Contemporary Bronze Nonstick  Cookware, not even milk burned, the non stick made it easy to clean as well.

Cleanup is a breeze, yet at first I was a bit disappointed that this set wasn’t dishwasher safe, I quickly realized how easy cleanup can be, with nothing burning or sticking to the bottom, you just take some warm water, soap and a sponge, wipe it out, let it dry and you are done, simple as that and a lot quicker than any dishwasher could have done it. I now LOVE IT!!

I also loved that each pan was able to use the lid that was part of the package, so no matter what I used, if I used the sauté Pan, I was able to use the lid on the Omelets Pan as well, LOVED IT!! It is always hard to find Omelet Pan’s that have a lid and since the lids are all interchangeable it was just wonderful to use the lid on any item that I was using on the stove; eliminating splatters and a mess.

This set has everything you need in the kitchen to create amazing dinners; from stove top to oven anything will go..LOVE IT!! I’m definitely looking at cookware in a different way; I can clearly see how HIGH QUALITY products like the Calphalon cookware will be a much better investment in the long term; this has a lifetime warranty, so I don’t have to worry about any defects, like the lid handle breaking off of  or the handles falling off; I’m all set. I can also always add a pan or pot to the collection since they do sell certain pans separate as well.

I loved this Cookware set so much, I actually spend a good 2 hours the other day in Bed Bath and Beyond ( actually on Black Friday..lol) telling shoppers how amazing the Calpahlon products are for cooking and baking and why I think they are worth the money; I loved telling people about the product, and funny story, they went to the register and when the cashier asked if anyone helped them they said “Melanie” did… lol.. of course the store personal had no idea who “Melanie” was… but the shoppers were happy and impressed with my personal experience and I hope they are as happy with their pan or cookware purchase as I’m; I wouldn’t trade my cookware for nothing and I will never give it up either…
