Christmas Countdown Book December 4

Stable in Bethlehem: A Countdown to Christmas

From 12 drowsy doves to 7 soft sheep to 4 shaggy camels, this lovely board-book edition of Stable in Bethlehem celebrates the wonders of Christmas–with a counting concept built right in. Joy N. Hulme and Dan Andreasen, the team behind the Sterling picture book Easter Babies, perfectly capture the spirit of the season with gentle rhymes and softly hued, charming pictures.

The Sterling Picture books are a favorite of ours and this book was wonderful; not too long not too short, just perfect.  I was able to have the kids interact by counting, looking for 8 Sheppard’s or 6 faithful guard dogs; this board book is wonderful for even the littlest hands; very sturdy and colorful. This shouldn’t be missed in any Christmas Collection.

You can grab your very own Stable in Bethlehem: A Countdown to Christmasbook through Amazon.com or any bookstore near you; this book retails for $6.95; making it a very affordable Stocking stuffer as well.

Don’t forget to come back tomorrow to count down to Christmas Eve with us.

We received the product for our honest review; all opinions are 100% our own and no other compensation was nor will be received. Affiliated links may be included in the post.
