This week has been super busy and super crazy. I really don’t know if I’m coming or going; we have Birthday parties, kids have friends over for a sleepover, busy at the office and I could go on and on…… My Crockpot this week sure was a lifesaver. Hubby wanted something different and at first, I kind of turned my nose, but I wanted to keep him happy.
Crockpot Thursday : Meatballs in Green Salsa Verde |
- Bag of Meatballs frozen, or fresh if you have the time
- Jar Green Salsa Verde
- Toss everything into the crockpot
- Close the lid
- Set on low for 6-8 hrs and on high for 4 hrs
- Enjoy…..
It was actually pretty good; different, not spicy at all, somewhat actually refreshing cause it wasn’t sweet either just a fresh summer taste. You can add the meatballs to subs with some lettuce and cheese or like we did to Tacos. The meatballs were so tender and yummy… I really enjoyed them. You can always add some onions and anything else you like; I just had no time in the morning and tossed this into the crockpot and I was truly surprised of the outcome… give it a try sometime

I LOVE salsa verde, but never would thought to put it on meatballs. What a great idea! I’m definitely going to try this. I made Slow Cooker French Country Chicken today… and will be posting it soon. 🙂
