We love our friends at Daniel Tigers Neighborhood and are super excited for his #NeighborDay which will be debuting on September 2, 2013. So be sure to set your DVR’s and check your local listings to find out what time he will be on your TV. Have you checked out PBSKids yet for all the cool and new things they have going on?
In this half hour special Daniel learns how good it feels to be neighborly and that one kind act can lead to many. His first good deed starts a chain reaction of kindness all around the Neighborhood, culminating with the declaration of "Neighbor Day"!**Strategy: Do something nice for your neighbor.
We love Daniel in our home, he is just the cutest thing with his red sweater just like Fred’s legacy is moving on. All thanks to the wonderful Angela Santomero.
The series centers around a four-year-old Daniel Tiger, son of the original Daniel Striped Tiger on Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. The series also features other children of the characters from the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, such as Katarina Kittycat, Miss Elaina, O the Owl, and Prince Wednesday. Two 11-minute episodes are linked by a common socio-emotional theme, such as disappointment and sadness or anger, or being thankful and appreciative. The theme also uses a Musical Motif phrase to reinforce the theme and help children remember.
I’m also excited to announce that finally #DanielTigerToys are available. I know we have waited SOOO long to get a Daniel Tiger Plush into our kids arms but now they are finally rolling out. Lots of fun toys will be rolling into a Toys ‘r’ us near you this September and will be ready to come home with you and your little ones.

We just started getting into Daniel Tiger a few weeks ago and my son is hooked. That’s cool that they are coming out with more stuff and even products like that cute doll. My son will love this.
I think that it is extra funny because my husband’s name is Daniel and my son says that he wants to be a Tiger when he grows up. I keep telling my husband that he should become a tiger too. Then I can call him Daniel Tiger. 🙂
