I’m really saddened that kids nowadays don’t have recess in school anymore. I always tell my Tween and Teen the cool things we did during recess like play catch, hide and seek, play soccer and T Ball or even jump rope and play with the Hula Hoop. I also love to spend time with my friends and just sit and chit chat about Boys and who was in and who was not *in the glamor world of Hollywood…lol*… of course we always loved to talk about the newest and hottest pair of shoes.
Besides all the other fun things we did during recess, hanging out with my friends is by far one of my favorite memory. Recess was time to goof off, get out all the build up energy, talk to your friends and enjoy a good laugh. Kids nowadays hardly get to socialize with any class mates at all. During lunch they are being told they have t be quiet and eat and on the walk from the classroom to the cafeteria they also have to stay quiet.. it’s almost like military boot camp and not like a school.
I’m super excited that Danimals is trying to change that and get our kids fit and active again.
