We took my princess and a few of our friends to Disney World the other day and had a fun day. As Florida in July can be hot, it wasn’t too bad. We enjoyed all the air-conditioned shows and entertainment and spend an entire day there. The one thing we didn’t do was eat there. As most of you know, Disney isn’t cheap and neither is the food. We brought some water for during the day and some snacks that we could munch on and for dinner I decided to check out my Restaurant.com app while in the park to find a great restaurant close to the park after we were ready to leave.
During one of the shows we had to wait in line to get in and I took that opportunity to see what kind of restaurants were available in the area within the same zip code and I found a bunch from Chinese to American and Italian cuisine from affordable to high priced, I found it all. I quickly told our friends about some of the dining opportunities that I had found on Restaurant.com and we decided on an Italian place about 3 miles away. I called to confirm that they were indeed open that day and checked for directions as well ordered my Restaurant.com gift certificate all through the App and while waiting in line. How awesome is that!
Dinner was saved and will be a lot cheaper for us. I love saving money and finding quality places to eat. My Restaurant.com app is always with me and anywhere I go I can find restaurants that I would have never looked for on my own. We enjoyed the rest of the day at the park and once we decided to head out, we drove about 5 minutes and the restaurant was right there. I was impressed! No Fast Food for us today!
We found the restaurant without a problem thanks to the great directions the App gave us and since they take my Restaurant.com certificate through my phone, I didn’t even have to worry about printing it out. Easy peasy and we found our Restaurant of choice.
I was impressed, it looked like a fun Italian Place in the middle of Kissimmee, Florida and I would have never found this place on my own, or would have walked by it just because it’s not a big chain name like some of the big ones we all know. We arrived kind of early around 5:30pm and no one was in the restaurant at all, besides the staff. My friends that came along for dinner questioned if they were even open, but they were. I couldn’t believe that no diners were there. The restaurant was super clean, looked great and the staff was wonderful. We couldn’t stop talking about how great the place was and how lucky we were to find it, but couldn’t help but think that there had to be a reason why no one came for dinner.
About 30 minutes after trying to guess what the problem was, we found out that tourists just don’t eat that early and around 6:30pm the restaurant got packed. I was kind of glad that we already had ordered our Pizza, Wings and Salads. No need to worry, I think everyone loves this place, just no one eats dinner early on vacation, hahaha.
Our dinner came quickly and was very good. The staff was wonderful and in the end, our bill came to $32.00 after using my Restaurant.com certificate. WOW! I couldn’t believe my eyes, we had 6 people in our party and we brought home almost an entire Pizza and some wings for the next day. Can’t be beat especially for a vacation town. Our friends were impressed and already asked us to bring our Restaurant.com App for our next get-together for the Memorial Day Weekend, they want to explore some new restaurants on our 4 day trip and save money. They couldn’t stop talking about the restaurant and the money I was able to save. Of course I told them they could load their very own App and start saving anywhere, anytime anyplace on their own.
