Welcome to the second day of the book tour of Where’s Boo? written by Neecy Twinem. Neecy Twinem is a children’s author, illustrator and also the creator and zoo keeper of ZombieZoo plush toys.
We fell in love with the ZombieZoo Animals over the holidays and couldn’t wait to get our hands on this amazing, funny and sometimes scary book.
The book is beautifully illustrated in bright vibrant colors with all the ZombieZoo characters. ‘Where’s Boo?’ is a 33 page book filled with an adventure of Boo’s pals, Muck, Stich, Toxic, and Rob trying to follow their friend, Boo, to discover where he goes when he mysteriously disappears from time to time at ZombieZoo.
The book is written in a way that makes it easy to read and for kids to understand. I loved the font that was used in the book; very cute and not your “ordinary” font. The illustrations are just too cute as well. LOVED the bright colors and after you are all done Ahhhhing and Ohhhing over the book and the wonderful pictures you will also take a message from the book “ friendship is very important but everyone needs their own place to get away and contemplate on the things that are important to every one individually”. Just like in real life, we love our family, we love our friends and we couldn’t be without them, BUT we need some space to re-group. LOVED the message.
Where’s Boo has been the bed time story of choice by my princess for the last 5 nights in a row; she can’t get enough of it and almost can recite the story on her own; she loves to cuddle with her “friend” Muck while reading the book and then cuddle up with him to go off into dreamland. We are loving this book and are having a blast with our ZombieZoo.
Besides our ZombieZoo friend Muck, there are a few other “zoo” residence and the book will introduce you to each and every one of them; trust me… YOU WANT THEMALL!!! after you know what they are all about.
Wonderful book with a powerful message that will remind your little ones that everyone needs a time out; to be the best friend they can be.

The book looks adorable, although I don’t get the whole zombie fascination in the media. I love vampires, werewolfs are ok, but zombies gross me out.
