It’s the most beautiful time of the year! We wish you a merry Christmas we wish you a merry Christmas and a happy New Year. I’m sure all those and more are ringing in your ears the last few weeks. I love Christmas time, it sure is the best time of the year.
This year somehow time has been flying by and we are already days into December and only a few days left to enjoy the Christmas Season. WOW… Time sure flies. I had a fun idea that I so wanted to share with you. I love holiday parties and why have one huge party if you can have lots of small ones?

It’s fun getting together with a few friends, hang out and have a great time, so why only do it once a season? Grab a cup of hot cocoa or your favorite coffee and check out how I’m handling the Christmas season this year.

My first stop was Publix, where shopping is always a pleasure. I picked up all my treats, drinks and everything I needed to create my snack ideas. I also checked out the NABISCO Party Planner for lots of fun recipe and party ideas along with coupons to use for the party snacks.

5 fun parties ideas to get together with your family and friends
-
Card Writing party: This is fun, we always run out of time for writing cards, this year I set my calendar and I put a card writing date together with a few of my closest friends. Each will bring a box of cards and I will provide some drinks and snacks. We all will laugh and chat while getting our card chores done. Everything’s more fun if you have friends and family helping you out.
-
Cookie Exchange: This is for everyone that is a sweet tooth. Not everyone may be up for a card party but a lot of your friends would love a cookie party. You could ask everyone to bring 3 dozen cookies along with the printed recipe and then you can swap cookies and recipes with everyone while enjoying good company and a few simple snacks.
-
Ornament exchange party: These are fun you can either ask a few friends to bring their favorite ornament while you host the party with a few simple Nabisco Snack ideas and maybe a few fun games to get the ornament exchange going OR you could ask everyone to bring materials to make ornaments and you all get together and make your ornaments for each other. This will be a blast for everyone involved. My mom always said Christmas isn’t Christmas if you don’t pull out the crafts. So get crafty, have fun and share lots of laughs.
-
Food Pantry Exchange party: This one is kind of fun, the main reason is to get together with your friends to hang out and relax, have everyone bring one or two non perishable food items that you can donate in the name of all of you to your favorite food shelter or have them bring unwrapped gifts and you can deliver them to your favorite toy collection sight for children this holiday season. It’s a win win for all you get to enjoy the company of your friends and you all can help someone in need at the same time. You could also adopt a family in need and surprise them with a nice Christmas dinner and a few gifts for everyone. This by far has been my favorite Christmas get together and I’ve done it for years. So much fun, you should try it sometime and very rewarding, too.
-
Candy making party: This one is also a lot of fun, call a few of your girlfriends and make your very own candy; it’s an afternoon of fun but you all will end up with lots of homemade candy that can be given as gifts for teachers, friends, neighbor anyone that you need a small thank you for. Try it, it’s a blast and you can bring your own candy flavor and end up with a ton of different candy. They are delicious, too. A friend of mine does that every year and I look forward to it every single time.

I hosted a card exchange a few days ago with my girlfriends, we all had a great time, one was in charge of drinks and someone else was in charge of table decor, someone was in charge for dessert and I was in charge for appetizers. I just have to share with you the delicious Grilled Pineapple-Kielbasa Bites recipe I found on the NABISCO Party Planner website. They even had a coupon to save $0.55 when you buy ONE (1) OREO Cookies package and save $0.55 when you buy ONE (1) WHEAT THINS Crackers or TRISCUIT Crackers, double score for me!
Doesn’t this look like a great recipe for your next party? it was super easy and delicious. Everyone enjoyed it and I saw them raving about it on my Facebook for days now.
So head on over to the NABISCO Party Planner to get even more party ideas and recipes for your very own Christmas party with family and friends. I guarantee you it will be a hit and you will be the “it” party host of the season.

These are great ideas. We love the kielbasa sausages but I had not considered using them as an on cracker party food. For most parties or get-togethers I like to set up a drink station and set foods out buffet style—just so much easier to nibble and easier to refill.

These are such good ideas for the Holidays. We love doing a Cookie exchange-that way everyone gets a different cookie to try out.
