Synonyms – The word game that gets your mind racing !
Some may know that I’m German, born and raised in Germany and English is my second language, the funny thing is I thought myself English, how to read, write and speak it almost fluent. I may have some posts where you think, how in the world, or why did she write it the way she did… it’s because I’m still trying to learn every day about the English language and how to get better at writing. I came across a game called The Word Game That Gets Your Mind Racing!.
I was excited to check it out, I love to learn new words and kind of spice things up here on the blog, I try not to use the same words over and over, but then I’m German and I’m a mom.. how many words do you usually use around a toddler???.. I have mommy brain…lol, but I try to be better and once again educate myself and see how many words I can learn.
Here is the game description from the box:

The other day I called my Tween and Teen to the table and I thought this would be a fun Mommy Time game with the boys… Boy, do I have a lot to learn. Luckily my excuse for being German works like a charm… because my Toddler and my Tween had a blast playing, me on the other side I got very discouraged, even to a point where my Tween saw how “sad” I was for not knowing the words, he was so sweet and not trying to say “Mom you aren’t good at this at all” or ” Mom, what’s wrong with you”.. Nope he said all the sudden, Mom, I think we should team up, things always work out better in a Team and I need some help over here”…. I was so proud of my Tween for offering to help his mom out… We had a blast playing this game and widening our horizon with a lot of new words.
This game will never get old, yet every time you play it, you will learn more words, or you can challenge yourself to say three different words for “Clean” in 20 seconds vs. the 30 seconds you get or Minute…It’s really a cool game. The boys loved it and came up with words that I had no clue where related.
