It’s that time of the year, where everyone has a little extra time and family gets together. How about bringing out the Reverse Charades game for some family fun; you can include the entire family, or bring the game out during your Holiday Parties.
I decided to check out the Junior edition, but there of course is also a regular edition for all ages. The Junior edition is age 6 and up and I was hoping for my 4 year old to be able to participate with some help of course.
Inside your box are 360 double sided word cards, sand timer and instructions. Simple as that. This game can go anywhere and be played anytime. I just loved it. We had some time to kill at the soccer fields waiting for our coach to show up and guess what. Yup, this Soccer Mom had her reverse Charade game in the car and we played it on the fields till the coach got there. In between we even had a few other players join in the fun. we had a blast.
We also pulled this game out a few times the past week just to keep the TV off and have some quality time together; every time the game was a ton of fun, lots of laughs and just a good time for everyone. The fun part, everyone keeps learning along the way; because reverse charade is sure to improve any class; English, math reading, science, your second language class – and even recess, too.
Reverse charade has won a number of awards, including the Dr. Toy 2011 Best Vacation product award as well as an award for excellence 2011-2012. That has to say a lot!!
There are also expansion packs that you can add to your game and store inside your original game box; we decided on the Holiday edition, just in time for the season. But you can also grab the Girls Night In or the Sport Edition.
5 Simple “rules” to play this game, very simple and easy for everyone to understand. Unlike the traditional games where one person acts out the word and the team guesses, reverse charade has the entire team act out the word and only one person gets to guess the answer! The Team Members who act out the word of course have to be silent, not a PEEP to be said!
That’s it.. simple as that… I can already see you explaining Christmas Tree in your team of 4 or five; love seeing the different interpretations… that is just soo much fun. Go ahead and add this list to your MUST Haves!
For more information or some more ideas or tips, be sure to check out Reverse Charade on the Web, you can also follow on Facebook or Twitter for even more fun.

I have never played reverse charades, so I am not sure about the expansion packs. I grew up playing charades, and always loved it, so I’m thinking reverse charades will be fun too!
