Now as the days are getting shorter and the nights are getting longer we spend a lot more time indoors; this is the perfect time to spend time together as a family without the TV or video games; in this Crazy Mom’s house we bring out the good ol’ board games.
Board Games have always been a great bonding tool in our family; the kids learn how to take turns, get to know each other and even start a conversation. There is a game for every occasion and if you have 15 minutes or 5 hours time, there is also a game for that.
We love that we can play the board games all together; even the Toddler joins in on the fun. The Tween and Teen have a bunch of board games that they pull out at least once a week; in our house Saturday is game night.
Recently we added a new game to our collection from the creators of Lego called “Minotaurus”. I had no clue that Lego makes board games, to my surprise the kids got that Memo and knew exactly what this game was about.
We loved the Lego game; not only is it a board game but you also create your game, so much fun and perfect during your family Game night…..So let’s turn off the TV, call all the kids on the table and let’s have a fun family Night with the new Lego Board games; start a conversation and you never know, you may learn something new about your Tween, teen or even the little ones… all because you took the time to play a board game with your family…..
