Oh how I love spring. It is finally here and I’m determined to spend a lot of time outside with my family. You see, almost all of the winter season I was couch bound. I have Lupus and the pain has kept me away from a lot of activities that I wanted to do.

Lupus is no fun and I have my good days and my bad days and I try a lot of things to keep my body healthy. Some work, some may not work. Not everything works for everyone but it is important to give it a try and see what works best for you. While I spend a lot of time on my couch this winter, I had a lot of time to do research and prepare for spring. I’m determined to make it the best spring yet. After battling Lupus the last 4 years I don’t want to sit another spring alone inside. So far so good, some of these tips have helped me already. Check it out.

Watch your diet! Eliminate nightshade foods, I made you a printable list, to keep track of your food and what to maybe cut out to keep track of your pain so you can eliminate food that isn’t good for you and get to a better you in no time, too. Night shade usually includes Tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, and eggplant. The reason I say to eliminate nightshades is mainly if you have pain like me from Lupus or Arthritis, because in some people these nightshades can cause a flare and inflammation in your joints. Eliminating them and see if you feel better is a great option.

Take a dietary supplement. I discovered Curamin® Stop Pain Now while shopping at my local health food store “Chamberlin’s”. While talking to the associate about my pain and Lupus issues, he directed me to the pain supplement section and I first saw that Curamin® was an award winning pain relief product that has provided life changing benefits for hundreds of thousands of people around the world. That had me curious and I wanted to know more. I found out that clinically studied the ingredients in the formula are carefully selected for safe pain relief. I love a safe alternative to get my pain under check and always hesitate taking the strong RX pain medications, so this was a welcome sight. I also found out that Curamin® is the #1 Selling Brand for pain relief that is a dietary supplement, is safe, effective and non-addictive and doesn’t just mask occasional pain, it gets to the source and stops it. I loved it and loved that it is a safe (I can’t say that too often!!), effective, non-addictive herbal formula, so different from over-the-counter pain meds and prescription drugs that can sometimes have negative side effects. I didn’t think any longer and added Curamin® to my daily regimen. So for 3 weeks now I’ve been faithfully taking Curamin® and so far, Spring is looking great! I have good days and bad days as with my Lupus, that’s a given but so far I’ve experienced more good days then bad and I really think the Curamin® is a big part in keeping my pain at bay. I’m finally excited to have something I can be happy about and know it is a good thing for me.

Plenty of water: Yes! Drink lots of water is a key. My body needs a few bottles more than the average person so I have to make sure I drink more each day to keep my body hydrated. It will make your skin look better and helps with joint flexibility for me. Maybe because I feel overall better when I’m well hydrated, so keep on drinking!

Get plenty of rest: I know getting all the ZZZ’s we need for our bodies to recover isn’t always easy. Especially if you have a lot of pain that keeps you up. I know all too well. But I can say that since I discovered Curamin® and it helps to keep my pain under control I have been getting better sleep, too. Nice little side effect that you totally will love! So if you keep your pain under control you will sleep better, too and feel much better. Trust me! It works wonders for me.

Take your time: Rome wasn’t build in a day so why should you get everything done in a day? Take your time, slow down when you notice your body aches or gets tired. Take breaks and just work at your own pace. I used to be one that wanted everything done in a day, no more. I discovered that the laundry will still be there tomorrow, the bathroom will still wait for me to get cleaned and the windows aren’t running away either, so do what you can and leave the rest for another day. And that kind of ties back into the other points, eat healthy, drink plenty of fluids, get rest when your body needs rest and take your daily dietary supplements and you will see you can be a new person, too.
These are just a few of the tips that I wanted to share with you how I manage being a mom of 3, a dog mom of 3 that works full time outside the house and still gets a meal on the table, homework done and everything else that goes along with being a mom, that battles Lupus on a daily basis.

It isn’t easy and some days are harder than others but with a little extra care it all can be done and you will enjoy your family and get to spend extra time with them. The alternative would be sitting in bed all day and being depressed. Who wants that?

Grab my check list, get up and push yourself you are amazing in so many ways, show it, put that smile on and enjoy the things that chronic pain has taken away from you. Stand up, it’s a fight, your fight but you can win the fight with a loving family, a few simple changes and Curamin® by your side.
Enjoy your pain free life to the fullest, would love to hear what you would do if you could get your chronic pain under control, leave me a comment below. Would love to chat. Hello Curamin® . Goodbye Pain.
