The kids are out for the summer, but learning never stops; this super cute and oh, so practice Letter Box Activity Set from Learning Resources sure has been a hit in our home with my Princess; the colorful yet simple “Toy” is easy to use for little ones to learn their letters in a fun and play environment as well as older children to learn words associated with the letter; the possibilities are endless and can adapt to any child’s need. This activity set isn’t just for the classroom, although it would be a great addition for any Pre-K or Kindergarten Classroom.

The “letter box” can be attached to any magnet surface and will stay put with the two magnet strips on the back, you can also hang it up with ribbon or robe, whatever works for your situation; the kids will get a kick out of opening the mailbox to see what letter is this week, or what object starts with what letter; there are sooo many lessons you can incorporate into this simple, yet very useful tool.

There are 104 double-sided alphabet cards with real-life photos and 13 double-sided letter cards (plus 8 blanks) included in the set, making learning fun. Of course you can always add your own pictures or cards to your hearts desire.. I just LOVE this set, can you tell the excitement? It is beyond amazing and I think every classroom should have one. We are actually donating our set to my daughters Early Learning Resource Center because I think ALL the kids would get a lot more out of this and my daughter still gets the benefit of learning from it.
