There you have it…our Peanut Gallery is complete. We adopted our first peanut a/k/a Charlie or like we call him Charlie Brown about 9 years ago; he is the white Lhasa Apso and he has been a pleasure to have around; like all Lhasa’s he has his moments and he has been battling a lot of doggie illnesses over the last few years but like a true trooper, he pulled through even after Dr.’s gave up; he is MY baby, a true little miracle. We rescued him from a family that thought a little fur ball would be the perfect thing and at 4 months old they realized even a small pup wasn’t working out for them. He has been the best thing ever, no idea why they gave him away, he is precious, sleeps all day and could care less about other animals.
About 8 years ago we had our Beagle “Snoopy” join the gang and that’s when our Peanut Gallery started to take shape. Snoopy is a true beagle, but quickly learned from his older brother Charlie Brown that sleeping all day on a bed is the perfect life and he hasn’t been chasing a hog or deer since; but he does chase that occasional squirrel up a tree; hence he is the one that needs a little help in exercise, he loves treats and loves to eat but doesn’t want anything to do with running, unless he sees a treat at the end of the tunnel… LOL..
Now, let me introduce you to the newest member of the gang “Woodstock”. Woodstock is the black and white Lhasa Apso (I swear he is a Shih Tzu). We rescued him from a local Animal Rescue about 3 months ago and he has been the life of the gang. He is full of energy and only 2 years old. He keeps the Peanut Gang going and tries to teach them new tricks; he is also quickly learning that in our house 7PM is bedtime and he puts himself to bed just like all the other gang members; no if’s and but’s lights out and sleep till 7 AM… that’s when he gets everyone up and going. He is the sweetest and best dog ever. He was a true miracle to join our family, I still don’t know what made me get another dog, but he makes the Peanut Gallery complete.
I wouldn’t want to miss a day without my Charlie Brown, Snoopy and Woodstock, they are amazing each in their own way, so I try to spoil them as much s I can but also keep them as healthy as I can. I recently found the Purina® Pro Plan® Fitness Plan and totally loved the idea.

Lots of amazing things to see and do at the Purina® Pro Plan® Fitness Group page and I’m super excited that we now can work out together and keep healthy for as long as possible. I know my pups are way too lazy and yet they play that occasional fetch they need to get their energy up and do some workout every day to stay fit; I think it will do both (well all four of us) a lot of good in many different ways.
We joint the challenge and hope you will, too. From September 30 – November 13, grab your leash and let’s join the challenge and see how happy your best friend will be. You can also win a years worth Purina® Pro Plan® Dog Food and many other cool rewards along the way. You sure don’t want to miss this, so be sure to sign up.
