Now is the perfect time for a fresh start to your healthcare routine and freshen up your First Aid Kit #Moms4JNJConsumer

January 12, 2014 By Melanie Roberts 32 Comments

This post is part of the HEALTHY ESSENTIALS® 2014 program by Johnson & Johnson Consumer Companies, Inc. and The Motherhood, who sent me a box of products and compensated me for my time. Opinions, experiences and photos shared here are all my own, and I hope you enjoy them

Now is the perfect time for a fresh start to your healthcare routine #Moms4JNJConsumer

We are a big Soccer family and all three kids are actively involved in teams. We had our fair share of accidents, cuts and bruises and learned our lesson and always have a first aid kit in the car for those little boo-boo’s that just need a little attention right away.

I decided to give you a little insight into our First Aid Kit to get you started with your very own; it’s always good to have one around the house, in the car and any other place you think of; even the imaginable place, you never know when you need to treat that little cut or injury. Especially with kids, anything can happen the nice thing Johnson & Johnson is always by your side and will make everything better in no time.

In our First Aid Kit we include a lot of different things, check out what we have and I would love to know what is in yours as well.

Our First Aid Kit

  • Band-Aid
  • Neosporin
  • Baby Shampoo to clean the cuts right away
  • Wash cloth
  • Visine in case the kids get dry eye on the fields
  • More Band-Aid’s ~ you can never have too many of those
  • Sample packs of Tylenol
  • Sample packs of Benadryl
  • Gloves
  • Instant Ice packs
  • Surgical tape
  • Small scissors
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Alcohol Swaps

I’m sure I forgot a few things, we update our kit often and replace anything that was used quickly. I also love to use sample size of the ointments, shampoo and anything else that you can get samples, because you really don’t use it often but the time you need it, you are glad you have it in hand. The sample packs can be found just about at any store and will fit perfect into a First Aid box.

I must say that I don’t have a complete health care kit. I need to get it full because some important things are missing. Thank you very much for this reminder and the extensive list, it’s very good one.

I need to inventory our first aid kits. Using baby shampoo to clean cuts it a great idea. Adding that to my inventory list.
