We have another super cool game up for grabs, my friend Grace from Blessed Elements graciously reviewed this game with her grandkids and share her review with us, she’s also offering a Giveaway below, so be sure to enter it. It sure sounds like a super cool and fun game to have around the house, especially during the Halloween Season. So check it out and see what Grace and her gang have to say about the Crows game.

I like strategy games and ones that take some thought while playing over games of luck. The Crows game by Tyler Sigman and produced by Valley Games is a fun game yet one that uses strategy to win. The game is best suited for 3 or 4 players and is recommended for ages 10+. Players take turns laying out tiles and crows and positioning their shiny object strategically so that the most crows flock to it. At the end of each round players count the number of crows on his shiny object and score. Once the tiles are all out, whoever has the most points win. The game took us about 45 minutes to complete. The game comes with the board tiles to lay out to attract crows, gems for each player to use to lay on tiles, a board to keep score, small wooden crows to use for the crows that will be attracted to the gems, and smaller tiles called special tokens. There are basically three steps to each round. Players Turn Crows Fly I found a video by Valley Games which will show you exactly how to play the game to illustrate the strategy and simple method to play the game.
Strategy games are great and I always try to include playing a few with my grand kids when they come over. It helps them start thinking out of the box! Thinking skills are enhanced by these games. They learn to think things through and try different solutions until one works. Actually I think kids that play strategy games may even do better in the business world as it helps them analyze their opponent and take the proper move to succeed.
