Rio The Movie and Coloring APP introduction {Giveaway US and Canada}

If you have an iPhone, iPad or any kind of smart phone, there is a new APP in town.

The Rio coloring app will be available tomorrow July 26 on Android Market and iTunes App Stores with two characters and one background available for coloring. Once the Rio Blu-ray is released on Aug. 2, the insert included will unlock the additional 10 characters and 4 background within the app. In total: 12 characters and 5 backgrounds OR 60 unique coloring pages.

For those in the LA or NYC areas, a hands-on demonstration of the app will be available at Santa Monica Place in LA and Roosevelt Field Mall on Long Island at a KIOSK with iPads, approximately 40-49” off the ground, easily reachable by children, to try the app.

In addition, Rio is celebrating National Friendship Day (July 30) with beach takeovers and ecards. Also, mall takeovers are happening in these areas, including “Friendship Rio style”  a  2 – 3 hour event  with the Rio trailer played, children engaging making a friendship bracelet, create your own mask, fun Rio activity sheets, write a friendship letter, take the friendship pledge, and watch scenes from the DVD!

To find a mall takeover near you be sure to check out this Facebook page with all the cities, dates and times listed. From Toms River,NJ to Tacoma, WA and even St. Petersburg,FL lot’s of cities are included and you sure don’t want to miss the fun, check if there is a city near you.

  24. I tend to watch a lot of food network(triple D anyone?), although I did fall in lve with the Voice this season.My daughter watches alot of nick jr. Although she is all of a sudden into curious george which I don’t mind watching with her.

  35. OK, so I’m confused by the comments. Are we supposed to be talking DVD or TV show? They could be the same… but… my kids’ favorite DVD right now is Despicable Me. My favorite TV show is Louie.
