We love to host Family Game nights at least once a week, we usually do that on a Saturday afternoon after we finish all our weekly cleaning chores so everyone can settle down and relax a bit. The kids love it.
My Teenage boys have grown to love our game nights and they have found memories of when they were little with all the fun games we played. Now my daughter is 8 and she loves to play games. It’s fun seeing her grow up being excited for Saturday and she gets to pick a different game each week.
My Teen boys loved it but now seeing their little sister light up every Saturday makes it all worthwhile. They see how awesome family game night can be and now still look forward to it. This week’s game of choice was Would You Rather, it’s a zany game of deranged dilemmas and difficult choices. Spinmaster released this game and we are in love.

My daughter laughed for hours and once she started to laugh that got the entire family going, check out a few of our funny videos on Instagram, I just had to share it. It was too funny. We must have spend 2 hours just sitting on the table, reading and laughing and guessing what the other would answer. It was so much fun.
With the holidays coming up and a lot of party gatherings i think a fun party game like What would you rather … would be a great ice breaker for old and young alike. My daughter has not stopped talking about the game since we played and asked for it every night since, well… we ended up playing for a short time almost every night the last week. She even went as far as taking the cards into the car to read them to us while out running errands and she cracks herself up laughing what we answer. It’s hilarious, fun and entertaining.
Family game night is a true gem that should be treasured, they are only little for so long and before you know it, they will be gone but will always remember the fun family game nights they had with all the laughter and fun.
It’s a tradition I hope my Teen boys will pass on to their family down the road and a little bit of me hopes that they may return every week just to hang out with their mom and dad for Family game night since it’s a huge tradition in our home. Make it yours, too. My daughter’s favorite #WouldYouRather for today is “ Would you rather lick poison ivy or use poison ivy as toilet paper”. She cracks up just reading it and she thinks it’s hilarious and laughs out loud every time we reads it. That alone makes it a memorable game night for us.
