Trick or Treat with Hershey #Giveaway

October 19, 2012 By Melanie Roberts 88 Comments

Halloween #Hershey Candy Trick or Treat 3

Happy Trick or Treat; Halloween is less than 2 weeks away and what would a Trick or Treat event be without any kind of sweets, chocolate to be exact? That’s exactly what the amazing people over at Hershey said, too and graciously send me a big ol’ box full of yummy, super delicious Halloween candy.

Being from Germany, where Halloween was none existent at the time when I grew up there, it’s always fun for me to spend the evening with the family, whether it be at a Fall festival with lots of friends or walking from door to door trick or treating. Just loving it.

Halloween #Hershey Candy Trick or Treat 6

When my box arrived the other day, it was litterly like Trick or Treat in my house, the kids all gathered looking into the box and asking “ohhh.. Can I have a Reese’s”? I had no idea that Hershey creates different wrappers for their Halloween Candy, I knew we always enjoyed giving out the little individual size candy for Halloween, but I’ve never noticed that it’s actually Halloween specific, there are bats on the Kit Kat or a giant bat on the York Patty’s; it ’s just super cool.

Another thing that I was surprised about was the sizes the candy bags come in. The Hershey’s miniatures for example are over 2 pounds (!! YES) per bag in miniature chocolates, all wrapped individually and different flavors; something for everyone to enjoy! That’s a perfect Halloween and Trick or Treat Bag…

For more information be sure to head over to the Hershey’s website to see all the cool new things they have to offer over there like Harvest Recipes and their brand new Halloween page with lots of cool crafts and recipes for the entire family to have fun with. Of course if you are on Facebook and Twitter, be sure to friend Hershey’s to stay up to date with all the new candy ideas, recipes and crafts they will release, you never know when a Facebook or Twitter special event rolls around either, you sure don’t want to miss that.
