I came across this wonderful coupon organizer a few weeks ago and was excited when I was asked to review The Couponizer.
As most of you know I’m a BIG, Big Big Coupon Queen as my husband tells everyone, I will NOT buy anything without a coupon. There is always a coupon for everything and if there is no coupon, guess we don’t need the item…I love to save money but organizing coupons can sometimes be a challenge.
So my challenge was to see if this Couponizer will work for my shopping trips.
This is what was part of my starter Set:
- The Couponizer® – 8″ x 5¼” booklet with 18 grocery coupon pockets, 4 generic
coupon pockets, 3 gift card/shopper loyalty sleeves, shopping pockets - Shopping List – 20 page tear off list pad with cardboard backing
- CoupStacker – Pre-sorting mat color coded to match the system pockets
- CoupTracker – 15 page spiral bound list pad with cardboard backing
- Scissors – blunt tip
- Carrying Bag – clear vinyl zippered bag
I must say, if you are anything like me and use envelopes or Ziploc baggies to put all the different coupons for that shopping trip together so you don’t have to lug around that HUGE coupon binder… then this product is perfect for you.
Every week I make my grocery list and pull my coupons, then I cut them and put them in a Ziploc baggie for each store and take the bags with me to the store, after the trip I usually toss the bags or loose them and I get so mad at myself for wasting Ziploc baggies that way… Not any more…
The Couponizer has a total of 16pages with 32 pockets, the book is divided into different categories like “My Coupon Supply” a”My Other Savings” “My Results” and behind that category are a few pocket pages with sub categories like “Shopping list, Coupons for this Shopping trip, checkout or coupons to expire soon.. each pocket also has a printed “TIP” next to the categories. Which is really cool to have. As a busy mom I noticed more and more that I forget things so those little Tips ( or reminders) on each pocket are great.
Now how does the Couponizer work.. it is simple. I don’t use it as my Big Coupon binder because I just have wayy to many coupons, BUT it is a nice little handy organizer that will store a lot of my coupons for my shopping trips and some coupons that I want to make sure get used before they expire. The organizer is small enough to carry to the store with you and will even house your credit card in the convenient 3 gift card/shopper loyalty sleeves that is part of the Couponizer, so easy to grab the Couponizer and run into the store.
Another great feature that I love is that the Couponizer has a rubber band across the front so if the Couponizer is not in use you can just “close” it up and your coupons are secure in the Couponizer, I love that.
This is a wonderful coupon organizer and I would highly recommend if you or someone you know coupons, this is a must have. This would make a wonderful Christmas present for the person that has everything.
You can check out The Couponizer’s website and get more info on the Couponizer as well as order one of your own. The Couponizer runs for $19.95 for the starter set and it is well worth it. Will keep you organized for many years to come.
