I was in a car accident a year ago; it was actually a minor accident at less than 10 mph; however the pain and problems still lingers on. My neck has not been and will never be the same. I’m still in a lot of pain and rely on products like Bengay and other pain relievers to keep the pain under control. So never under estimate a small collision, it still can do a lot of damage.
I heard about the new Bengay Cold Therapy. My Doctor swears by “ice” therapy and rather have me use COLD than warm, I beg differ, but then he is the one making the big bucks..lol. When I saw that the new Bengay product is a COLD Therapy, I knew I had to check it out. Will it give me some relieve from the pain in my neck?
The tube arrived the other day and I must say, I liked the “coldness” of the product. I first applied it to my hand ( hurt it at the office, long story, but so glad I had the Bengay); boy did it got cold; that showed me that I actually have nerve damage in my neck, because I hardly felt any Cold sensation on my neck at all, sure it minimized the pain but I couldn’t fell the “cold”; first I thought well.. it’s another product that states “COLD” and then works just barely, but once I put Bengay on my hand.. it was a completely different sensation. My hand was so cold, at least the feel, that at some point I even had to wash it off, it go sooo cold, it worked wonders. I loved it. Now for my neck, yes it worked, the pain was under control for a little bit, even though I was unable to fell the “coldness” I still liked the product, because it did what it was suppose to do, not the products fault that I have no feeling on that part of my neck, which to be honest I had no clue either.. so in a way, that was a great thing for me to test it.
Will I keep using it? Most defiantly, it worked exactly the way I was told and it will be wonderful to keep in the sports bag for my Teen, he always gets some kind of injuries while playing soccer or even keep it at the office when I get the pain again, it will keep it under control and I don’t have to grab the pills….
