Who doesn’t love a home cooked spaghetti sauce that simmered all day and just has mouthwatering flavor like you slaved over it all day?
We haven’t had Spaghetti in a few weeks and the kids had been asking for it. Sure, it’s a quick meal, but I wanted the real home cooked taste that I usually get when I cook my pasta sauce all day.
I never cooked pasta sauce in the crockpot, but why wouldn’t it work? After all, you cook it all day in there, too?
So before I left for work the other day I added all the ingredients and came home to a wonderful smelling home. it smelled like I slaved all day over the stove to have this comfort food taste like Homemade. The kids loved it and had even thirds and hubby was totally impressed with the flavor.
Little tip: I cooked the meat before I added it to the crockpot, you don’t have to do it, but the sauce was a lot less greasy then if I left the meat frozen… but either way is fine ![]()

Yum I love a good meat sauce simmering.
I hate hate jar or canned sauce so i am already willing to try a new receipe. I will try this without the sugar.
Let me know how it turned out, I like it a lot better then the jars, that’s for sure
and in the crockpot just as easy as opening a jar
I’m not normally a Spaghetti fan, but if the right person cooks it and it looks delicious like yours does, then I’m all in! This looks fabulous, thanks for sharing, I’m going to follow your directions and try this!
I will defianetly try this recipe. I have never thought of fixing spaghetti in the crockpot.
