If you have a toddler you know how hard it is to juggle a snack cup and a drinking cup especially in the car; when my toddler is in the car and one or the other cup falls to the ground she used to throw a fit till I was able to reach the cup and give it back to her. Now I’m fortuned, usually I have one of the older kids with me and they can grab her cup and keep her happy; but if you don’t have that luxury, I know you are in for a rough ride.
Well, let me tell you, there is a solution for that now called “Cubbie Cup”. A wonderful mom named Tiara Henderson, had the same issues and she knew she had to put a stop to the everyday struggle while sitting in rush hour; On a crisp fall afternoon as she was driving home wit her toddler. She watched her drink from a Sippy cup, throw it on the floor, and start to eat her snacks. A moment later, she wanted her Sippy cup again, but it was on the floor…and she was driving. Explaining to a toddler why mommy can’t stop in the middle of traffic to retrieve a Sippy cup doesn’t go over so well! As soon as she got home, she drew the first sketch of what is now known as the Cubbie Cup!
When I heard about this wonderful cup that is the ultimate combination of a spill-resistant Sippy cup AND a spill-resistant snack
cup, I knew that this would be an awesome product to have in the Crazy Mom’s house. Our cup arrived and my toddle has yet to give it up. We use it every morning and fill it up with milk and cheerios and off to the bus stop and then on to the babysitter we go, cup and snack in hand. This is a wonderful, simple creation that was invented by a mom for a mom. You already know that I love mom invented products, because they work. Mom’s always knows best. The entire cup can go into the dishwasher and is BPA Free & PVC Free, Spill Resistant, Easy to Use For All Toddlers.
My favorite feature about this cup, yes it’s leak proof and I can give my Toddler one cup and not worry about spilling two things or losing one cup, but the thing I love the most is that the cup has a measuring scale on the side. It has 8oz 6 oz., 4 oz. and 2 oz marked right on the side. Making it very easy to fill up the amount of juice, milk or any other liquid that your child needs and you will be able to keep track of how much they drank that day; the snack cup also has a scale marked right onto the cup of 1 cup, ¾ cup, ½ cup, 1/3 cup and ¼ cup, making it very easy to give your little one the daily nutrition she needs. Love that feature, I never know how much fruit or snack my toddler eats and I know my Dr. always ask how many servings she had, this will make it easy to keep track off.
What a wonderful thing, you are already struggling in the morning and now all you have to grab is one cup and your toddler will have the breakfast she need to keep her day going well…. And all because one mom had an idea. We defiantly will give this cup two thumbs up; wonderful invention and something that was defiantly needed. Go Check them out on Facebook, @cubbiecup and their website, you can also purchase your own Cubbie Cup through Amazon.com and they retail for $ 10.99.

WOW! That looks fantastic. I wish I’d had one of those when Hanna was little. 🙂 We had a little cup with a plastic top that she could reach into to get her snacks, but the cup or the snack cup always landed on the floor. What a brilliant mom to come up with this! GO MOMS!!

Seems a bit pricey but I love the idea. With a 10 month old and almost 3 year old I should get $11 worth of use out of it…lol.

Seems like a really cool idea but can just imagine my daughter taking the lid off and tipping them all ove rher face whilst in the back of the car. Clever little design but a little pricey.

James… the lid isn’t really that easy to pull off, my 3 yo hasn’t even thought about pulling the lid of especially since there is a opening for her little hands to go in… 🙂
