Learn and Grow Garden fun with #GoGreenNGiggle #CBias

Spring is upon us, we already have a beautiful Springtime in sunny Florida. The perfect time to have some fun with your little ones outside and enjoy the warm and breezy air before it gets to hot.

My Punki enjoys spending most of her day outside, so this is always a challenge to keep her entertained. The other day, I set off to find some activities for her to do and still have lots of fun, that brought me across a unique, yet very cool website. I just knew I had to check them out and tell you guys all about it.

The Gigglin’ Garden gang is so cool; they teach little ones how to go green and have fun. I fell in love with their sunflower kit and had to order it through Amazon.com right away. The kit was $24.69 (that was $18.95 for the kit and $5.74 shipping). I didn’t think that was a bad price at all, but was truly surprised after my box showed up within 2 days of ordering!!

I had not planed on it being here that soon, I ordered Wednesday evening and the box was at my door Saturday Morning… WOW, super fast delivery, love it!

I was also surprised by the kit, I never would have thought it would be THAT amazing…check out what was inside the box.

  • Kit includes "Go Green & Giggle" book/song cd and greenhouse kit
  • Indoor/outdoor starter kit to grow sunflowers
  • Kid friendly – easy planting with seeds and magic soil pellets
  • eco-friendly tote made of post recycled material

My Punki was jumping for joy; she LOVES to play in the garden and watch her Papi grow all our veggies, she couldn’t wait to grow her very own Sunflowers… She kept saying “I’m a grower, just like my Papi…I’m cool.. right mom?”

We started off and read the book first so she can get the story behind the sunflowers and let me tell you, what a fun and cute book. We had a blast reading it and let me just tell you this “There is a secret”… I can’t tell you more, you really have to go and buy the kit and have a blast with your little ones to find out the secret…:0)

The book is colorful and just eye pleasing for mom, dad’s and the little ones. We sure had a blast. I didn’t expect the CD to be as much fun either; my Punki wanted to hear the music and the first track is actually the read along story, which was great. My 4yo can now read along on her own while I clean or cook supper. LOVED it… but the other 3 songs are just AWESOME.. a lot of fun if you ask my Punki. I tried to take a picture of her dancing along, this doesn’t really show how much fun she had listening to the CD that is part of this kit.

Okay, after we read the book and had all our wiggles out, it was time to start the growing lesson. Now my punki is 4 years old and she did the entire thing on her own; she had a blast adding the water and watching the magic soil pellets grow.

After she added the water, we watched the magic soil pellets grow……and grow…. and grow… right in front of our eyes.

Our next step was to add the Sunflower seeds to the magic soil pellets….

What a fun lesson this was for my Punki, the best part.. she will be able to see it grow and take care of it on her own. We put it into the window with lots of sun and now we will wait for it to grow.

Who would have know that learning how things grow could be that much fun…. if you have the Gigglin’ Garden Gang on your side, you never know what will happen next or what joke comes up along the way.

Be sure to jump over to the Gigglin’ Garden gang’s website for a “sunflowerload” of fun and actives; their website is jam packed full of Giggles and coolness.

We are off to take care of our Green House with the Sunflowers now, but while we are gone, why don’t you check out the Gigglin’ Garden Gang on their
Website or follow them on Facebook or Twitter for some Gigglin’ Fun.

This kit is so much fun and I LOVE that preschoolers can do it all by themselves. Your daughter is a little doll- love her curls!

Wow, this is great so glad I found it. It’s perfect for my Granddaughter. She helped her Mom plant flowers and a few for her own, but this will explain how to start from a seed. Can’t wait to get mine. I love all the little things I find on your site. Not hard to keep kids busy thanks to you and your blog.
