Let the Ninja Ultima Blender be your helper this #Holiday Season and all year long #Review and #Recipe

Let the Ninja Ultima Blender be your helper this #Holiday Season and all year long #Review and #Recipe

We all have a blender and we all know that they break easily, are bulky and we hardly ever pull them out because it’s just too much of a hassle just to puree some fruits. I can’t tell you how many blenders I broke over the last few years, the jar either broke or the motor burned up crushing ice; the thing that I hated most about a blender that it froze up and wouldn’t blend anymore… drove me crazy!!

Let me tell you, I’ve searched high and low for a good blender that would fit my budget and all my needs. I wanted a blender that was sturdy, would be able to do more than just blend a smoothie and dishwasher safe. I’ve looked at different brands and in the end had two I really liked, one was the Vitamix and the other was the Ninja.

I’m already familiar with the Ninja brand, I really love their Cooking System and Euro Pro the company behind Ninja is also familiar to me because of the Shark cleaning products. I know they are durable, have an amazing warranty and the company stands behind their products; so I decided to compare the Vitamix, whom I know nothing about other than what friends and family kept telling me, and the Ninja Ultima Blender Plus.

There you have it! In the end, the Ninja Ultima Blender Plus was a better value for my money and has a lot more features than the Vitamix. Let me tell you a bit about the Ninja Ultima Blender Plus and why I really like it.

Let the Ninja Ultima Blender be your helper this #Holiday Season and all year long #Review and #Recipe

  • PRO VARIABLE SPEED
Ninja’s expansive speed range offers everything from gentle blending to total crushing to Nutrient Complete Juicing. You can easily adjust to the correct speed without worry of over mixing or processing.
  • DUAL STAGE BLENDING
Ninja has Total Crushing Blades that rotate at 5,000 RPM that crush whole fruits, vegetables, seeds & ice. The bottom High Speed Cyclonic Blades rotate independently at 24,000 RPM to liquefy ingredients into a silky smooth consistency in a matter of seconds
  • POWER
Ninja Ultima blender is equipped with a 1500 Watt / 2.5 Peak Horsepower Motor to power through the toughest ingredients. The combination of blade speed and power is the ultimate tool that allows you to create chef inspired recipes at home.
  • VERSATILITY
The Ninja Ultima blender offers more versatility than a traditional blender due to the power, speed and Dual Stage Blending technology. You can create endless recipes from complete nutrient juices to dips to purees & so much more.
  • SINGLE SERVE BLENDING
Fill, blend, and go! Blend right in the single serve drink cup and twist on the Sip and Seal to-go lid for a healthy, convenient snack with little clean up.
  • PATENTED BLADE TECHNOLOGY
Top blade has patented gear system to rotate TWO sets of blades at separate RPMs
  • SAFETY INTERLOCK DESIGN WITH LOCK ON LID
To lock the Pitcher onto the motor base; Lock on lid features a pour spout.
  • ERGONOMICALLY DESIGNED
To easily fit under your cabinets

A few features that I personally love that usually no one talks about is the cord holder in the back of the machine; you can easily wrap the cord around and it is neatly in place, not hanging around. This is a first for me on a blender; I usually have to wrap it around the glass or somehow find a way to keep it tucked away.

I also love that the bottom has suction cups to keep your blender sturdy on the counter without wobbling or falling off. That is a very cool feature and another thing I truly love is that it came with 3 (!!!) single serve cups and lids. They are soo easy to clean and nothing sticks to the inside. I made my smoothie the other day and forgot to rinse out the cup right away; usually in my old blender the cup had to be soaked for days to get the dried on spinach off the inside of the cup; not with the Ninja cups, it came off within seconds. All I did was add a little warm water, soap and shook the cup and clean it was, AWESOME. I also love that ALL parts (except the motor unit) are dishwasher safe!! They do clean so easily and quick I may not need to put them in the dishwasher, a simple rinse under warm soapy water works wonders.

Smoothies are done in seconds, blended well and smooth. I was in the mood for some pineapple and kale smoothie, but added nothing but the ripe pineapple and the kale; no ice, no extra fillers and within seconds I was able to drink my powerhouse smoothie with nothing but the vitamins of the fruit & Veggies. AWESOME!!

The pineapple was crushed and smooth in seconds; I think I pushed the pulse two times and it was done; it was THAT fast!! Like I said, cleanup was a breeze and since I wanted a blender for more than just a smoothie maker, although I’m really excited that I can blend a smoothie in seconds now, I made dinner with the Ninja Ultima Blender Plus as well.

Gnocchi with Artichoke Parsley Cheese Sauce

Let the Ninja Ultima Blender be your helper this #Holiday Season and all year long #Review and #Recipe

This is what you need:

  • 14 oz marinated Artichokes
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • juice from 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 cup parsley and 1/2 cup basil
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan Cheese ( Sorry I didn’t realize that I added the powder version in the picture, I did end up using real Parmesan shredded cheese in the dinner)

Let the Ninja Ultima Blender be your helper this #Holiday Season and all year long #Review and #Recipe

Add everything to your blender, including the liquid from the Artichoke hearts; blend on #2 till smooth; about 3 seconds or so.. Really didn’t take long at all!!! Once all blended, add to a small saucepan to heat up and pour over spaghetti or gnocchi like I did. It was super fast and AMAZING!!!

Let the Ninja Ultima Blender be your helper this #Holiday Season and all year long #Review and #Recipe

I can honestly say, the Ninja Family did it again. A Powerful kitchen appliance that needs to be in every home and with all the power this blender has your dinner creations, smoothie creations and anything else you may use your blender for are endless. I’m in love with mine and keep it sitting on the counter for easy access and everyday use. Not a day has gone by where our blender wasn’t used. The kids drink a lot more fruit & veggie smoothies and dinner is homemade a lot faster with homemade spaghetti sauce, soups and anything else I can come up with. Of course, crushing ice is no issue for this blender either, it will be done in seconds, just like anything else and cleanup is a breeze as well.

So, what are you waiting for… There is no excuse not to get one of the new Ninja Ultima Blender Plus for your kitchen. For more information be sure to visit Ninja Blenders on the Web or follow on Facebook and Twitter, they often post recipes and tips as well. You can purchase your own through Amazon.com or many retailers across the nation or on the Ninja website.

I am seriously in love with my Ninja. I use it almost every single day for smoothies, sauces, and even cookie dough. And their customer service is spectacular if you have any issues. The handle of my blender was defective, and the company immediately sent me a replacement even though I had lost my proof of purchase. They definitely stand by their products!

Wow, where do I start? The recipe sounds so good and the Ninja is so appealing. My mom has a vitamix and rarely uses it because of the size of it! This sounds perfect

I think my favorite part might be that it’s ALL dishwasher safe. I can’t even tell you how annoying the one I have is now that I have to wash by hand. That’s not fun when you’re dealing with blades!

I need a heavy duty blender in my kitchen. Like you I went through a couple of blenders over the years. Eventually gave up and bought a heavy duty one from India. It’s almost 10 years now and still going strong. Wish this Ninja blender was available then. I would have definitely tried it.
