We are now 18 days into the month and our savings challenge is well on the way. Remember I challenged myself to switch from the oh so yummy, yet not so cheap coffee house brand Iced Coffee, which I drank every day on my way to work to the new and delicious International Delight Iced Coffee.
My goal at the beginning of the month was to save $100 by switching to the International Delight Iced Coffee and I was a bit skeptical if I even would save that much; we wanted to take the extra money and apply it to our trip this summer to Germany,s o we can splurge a bit.
Check out what our savings total to dated it (remember we are only 18 days into the month… that means we have 13 more days to go…)
When I added my daily savings this morning, I almost flipped when Is aw that it went over $100 already; I was stunned. I never ever dreamed that I would be able to save that much money by switching to the International Delight Iced Coffee. I do have to admit, the International Iced Coffee is delicious and I’m hooked on it already.
I was super excited to find a $1/1 Coupon in todays Newspaper, this will make for a great deal for the rest of the month. Making the 1/2 gallon carton of International Delight less than $3 at Walmart. I can go a week on 1/2 gallon which is soo much cheaper then just one of my favorite Coffee House drinks.. AWESOME savings. I’m off to pour me another cup and enjoy my savings… have you switched yet?
See you next week with the new savings total… maybe I should make another goal.. let’s see if I can save $250 by the end of the month….You think we can??
