Walgreens Prescription Savings Club covers your Pets #rxsavingsclub #Cbias

I’ve heard a lot of Buzz lately around the Walgreens Prescription Savings Club and decided to investigate what the buzz is all about.  Millions of Americans and I’m sure a lot of my readers do not have Prescription Drug Insurance Coverage and as we all know, prescriptions are not cheap, sometimes even wipe out your entire savings account.

What has totally depleted our savings, and I’m sure very little of you have it, is prescription drugs for our four legged babies, yes our Dogs and Cats! As most of you know, my Charlie had been very sick since the beginning of the year and he is still on prescription medications and as soon as I heard that the Walgreens Prescription Savings Club would cover your pets, I wanted to check it out and see if I can save a little on at lest his medications.

So I grabbed the Prescription that our Vet so graciously writes out month by month and off to Walgreens we went to purchase the Prescription Savings Club which is $35 for the year to cover the entire Family from Mom & Dad to Cats and Dogs. The Savings Plan also provides additional savings for anything Non- Prescription like:

• Valuable discounts on thousands of brand-name and all generic medications
• Between 5 percent and 20 percent discount on most immunizations
• 10 percent bonus on purchases of Walgreens Brand, W Brand, Nice! products and in-store photofinishing services
• 10 percent savings on services from Take Care Clinics^SM at select Walgreens
• Savings on preventive and lifestyle medications your insurance may not cover
• Additional discounts on pet medications with a human equivalent, all compounded medications, nebulizers and diabetic supplies.

I was super excited not only will I be able to save money on my babies prescription but also on things we need around the home from the Walgreens Brand and even photo needs, all with just the Prescription Savings Club…LOVING IT!!

It was very easy to obtain the Savings Club, I went to the Pharmacy and purchased it along with dropping off my Dogs Prescription. My very knowledgeable and very nice Pharmacist explained the Savings Club to a tee and took a good 20 minutes time to go over the Advantages as well as if the Savings Club doesn’t save us at least $35 for the year, our money would be refunded; so nothing to lose!!! That was news to me….. I had not heard that…….

My Pharmacist also gave me the option to purchase an individual Plan just for Charlie for $20 a year or a Family Plan, which will cover everyone in the family, including all the pets for $35 a year. I decided on the Family Plan, after all, I have 2 dogs and 3 kids, I’m sure we need lots of savings with back to School in the neat future and Germs everywhere.

My Pharmacist was quiet busy so I told him I would come back later that evening and pick up the Club Membership along with Charlie’s prescription, he was very Thankful, but would have hurried to get it ready if I wanted to. No rush for this Crazy Mom, my Walgreens is litterly in my Neighborhood, so I will not have a problem coming back and they don’t have to break their back to get my little Savings Club Membership ready :0).

Once I got back later in the evening, when it was convenient for me, I decided to wander around checking out all the products I was able to get a saving on like Band-Aids, Ibuprofen and many other even Non-medicated items all with the Walgreens or Nice Brand name… Super cool and will come in so handy with 3 kids around.

Once I picked up the prescription, I couldn’t believe my eyes, I only paid $ 6.87  for the prescription, which is a saving of $5.12 ; OMG.. I soo wished I had that plan month ago, I would have saved a bundle. But the good news is, I now have the plan for an entire year to enjoy and save on anything my family needs, prescription medication, non prescription, for me or my pets…. that’s pure AWESOMEness… and I’m super excited and hope you will check out the savings at your local Walgreens as well, this can’t be beat and the savings are amazing!!
