We are #RedCarpetReady to party like a Star #Giveaway

As you have heard by now, Sunday is a very special day; It’s Oscar’s day!! Are you excited to watch the Oscars? What movie is your favorite and which one do you hope to win? How about Actor? Anyone special?

We have spend all week preparing for the Oscars and that means we had family movie night every single day this week. Unfortunately I haven’t seen most of this years nominees, but we sure had a blast watching some of last years winners.

It’s a blast to have movie night with our family everyone got to pick a different movie. My husband wanted to watch “War Horse”, the oldest Teen wanted to watch “Moneyball”, my middle Teen picked “Hugo”, the princes wanted to watch “Brave” and I made everyone watch “The Help”

It sure was a  lot of fun and everyone had a good time picking their personal favorite and the entire family watched it. We are super excited for Sunday, watching the Oscars together and picking which movie we should watch next. I’m kind of looking forward to “Les Miserable”, how about you?

Besides having a movie night we also cooked some special dinners; like Tacos using Wholly Guacamole and yummy Wholly Salsa. This was a simple dinner, but enjoyed by the entire family before our first movie “premier” the other day.

Another day we used all the delicious Wholly Salsa and Wholly Guacamole to create a quick Crockpot dinner; Chicken Chili. It was simple, perfect for cold weather and paired with the Wholly Salsa and Guacamole, couldn’t get any better than that.

We love the Wholly Products; some familiar things like the Guacamole can be found in our fridge on a daily basis. I love to add it to sandwiches and salads, but we also enjoyed the new Salsa’s and really liked their flavors. The Wholly products are perfect for your next Oscar night, that’s for sure.

For a little extra special viewing party, I picked up some Daily’s Cocktails for my husband and myself to enjoy, while the kids munched on popcorn. Let me tell you…. Best party Week EVER!! Was great to run to the freezer and to grab a pre mixed cocktail and sit down and unwind after a busy day at the office. Did you know Daily’s has many different flavors to choose from and for under $2, the perfect ending to a long day. My favorite was the Spiced Sangria, because you can not only enjoy it frozen, but also heat it in the microwave to turn it into a “hot” drink to keep you warm on those cold nights. My husbands favorite was the Piña Colada. YUMM.
