Here we are, end of June and the kids have been out for the summer for a few weeks now. It has been super hot down here in Florida so the next best thing besides our pool is to sit on the couch, popcorn in hand and watch Netflix.
My kids don’t mind at all that I let them spend most of the day in front of the TV, it keeps them entertained during the dog days of summer and we have family time in the evening when it cools off and it’s actually enjoyable outside. Bet you didn’t know that about Florida. Our summer time is similar to the winter time up north instead of the cold weather we have excruciating heat that makes it unbearable outside. So we spend a lot of time inside and Netflix keeps us company.
I did a few Netflix throwback searches and shared a few of my favorite movies from way back when, ya know when I was little back in the day many many moons ago, with my kids. They loved watching all the old shows and it sure brought back lots of memories. Check out below what we watched during June and maybe you can add it to your must watch list for next month to keep your kids entertained, too.
These are my all time favorite shows and movies that I still love to watch till this day and are always my go back shows on Netflix if I can’t find anything else to watch, it sure never gets old. How about you, do these shows bring back memories for you?
Aren’t these old shows amazing? Awwww just love them. Garfield is a trooper, love him and who doesn’t like the Smurfs? Oh what about our friend Mario, I’m sure everyone remembers him,us 90’s kids sure can sing the theme song, I know I can, can you?
But we also watched a few new releases on Netflix, too. My kids picked and here are a few of their favorite ones we watched this month, super cool, a lot of fun and such a great time together as a family. We just love making a big deal out of movie night (well in June it was more Movie Morning) and always add fun stuff like special food, snacks or drinks to keep the kids entertained and looking forward to our fun time as a family. There you have all the fun we had with Netflix #StreamTeam during June, can’t wait to see what July has in store for us and what new releases they will offer. Oh, did you know that Netflix also has different language movies? Yes… They have German movies that I’m in love with and super excited to be able to watch them in my language. Super cool.
