It’s Monday again…. Halloween is just around the corner and the kids are back in school; everyone is running around to get ready for Fall, Thanksgiving and soon Christmas… Well.. I’m running around and planning our next summer vacation….:0). I know.. I’m Crazy :0)
I have been wanting to go home to Germany for years now, it just never worked out. So we had a 5 year plan; that was 3 years ago. We decided to save all our money for 5 years and then when the kids are old enough we would take them and spend a few weeks in Germany. Well, we saved the money as hard as we could and we are now able to go home to Germany next June. I’m super excited; I booked our tickets over the weekend. Now it feels real……!!!
I can not wait to plan the entire trip and let my family and friends know that we are coming home. It will be a crazy 4 weeks but well needed time after 11 years!!.
Also, I will be adding a countdown ticker to the blog soon and will take all of you with me to enjoy the beautiful country and report back with pictures almost on a daily basis. It will be soo much fun… more recipes, lots of traveling.
The kids are super excited and can’t stop talking about the trip, they may drive me crazy over the next 9 month :0).
So, I know… by now I’m already driving you crazy.. but I’m just soooo excited….. Let’s move on to the menu plan for the week.
This is what the Crazy Mom household will be dinning on for the week.
Monday: Bratwurst and Sauerkraut Sandwiches with Mustard* It’s a
German thing, what can I say*
Tuesday: Homemade Pizza
Wednesday: Chicken Masala
Thursday: Turkey Meatball Spaghetti
Friday: White Chicken Chili
Saturday: Backyard BBQ with ribs and corn and all the yummy stuff
Sunday: Dinner at Mimi’s House *mom’s night off*

Wow – how exciting. My husband has family over in Germany, his mom came to America with her parents and sister when she was just 3 years old. We would love to take our children there some day. Great job on saving!!!

Coupons are an amazing tool… thanks to coupons we were able to save the money….:0)… Ohhh wow.. hopefully you get to visit one day, too… will keep my fingers crossed for you guys… till then, why not come back and follow our journey and travel Germany through us… we would love to have you….:0)
