What do you think all these items above have in common; other then they are all in my cupboards and something that we use almost on a regular basis; they are also our favorite products… BUT… there is something bigger these products have in common.

They are all part of the Unilever Family and all Unilever products are part of an amazing campaign called “Cross of Hunger”.

As most of you know, I love helping people in my own community and across the nation any way I can and when I was approached about the Unilever Cross off Hunger campaign I immediately did some research to see what this was all about.

Unilever is committed to donating more than two million meals to families in need with Feeding America and every item on your shopping list counts.  Show your support by adding Unilever brands to your cart next time you shop.  Together we can help to Cross Off Hunger.

I had no idea there was such a  program and by simply purchasing the products that we all have in our very own homes; products that we already love and use on a daily basis, we could help and feed America and Cross off Hunger all at the same time. I’m loving this!!

I honestly had no earthly idea how many products are part of the Unilever Family and if you aren’t sure, be sure to check below and see if you find your favorite brand and grab an extra item next time you are in the store; we can help and Cross off Hunger and feed families right here in America, our home! After all, we are all #BetterTogether.

You can walk through my house right now and you will see that we are a Unilever Family, too. From Dove being one of my favorite deodorants to Country Crock butter and my all time favorite Knorr products; there are so many products in our home; even our Bertolli Spaghetti Sauce is part of the Unilever Family, who would have know.

You too can help in Feeding America and Crossing off Hunger; take the Quiz about your Hunger IQ; do you have what it takes to understand what Hunger means? You will find out; how about do you know what Food Banks really need? I know a lot of times people say “Dry Goods” or “Canned Goods” are on the list; but did you know that Food Banks are looking for Pasta or even Jelly’s and Spreads? I would have never guessed that this was on the wish list for a Food Bank.

We are planning on picking up some products on our next shopping trip and not only will we purchase Unilever products to help Feed America so we can help Unilever out in their goal to Cross off Hunger, but we also will donate part of our purchase to help our local Food Bank as well; making our donation go even further.

No child, Family or even Senior should go without the main necessity; FOOD… let’s take a stand, head over to Cross off Hunger and take a pledge; it doesn’t take long and you can help Cross off Hunger by just educating yourself what this program is all about; it’s a simple as that; no  purchase required at all!

I know what my goal is for the remainder of the year and then some; helping to Cross off Hunger and feeding as many as I can in my community; I see families every day with signs that they “Will work for food” or “I’m Hungry”…. I’m beyond excited that Unilever is taking a stand and supporting Feeding America; we need more companies like Unilever to help our very own; things are tough for most of us and this is just an amazing act that one company is doing; one meal at a time.
