Do you know what time it is? Are you ready for some …. Chocolate? Ha-ha, got ya! I bet you thought I’d say football. Well, in a way it is actually both. football season is upon us and I know if your husband is like mine, they have the BIG day marked in the calendar, the day football season starts. I’m not the biggest fan so for me that means I get to create fun snack and dinner ideas and this year my first challenge was to add #Chocolate4TheWin.
Kids are back to school and football signups are done, we are ready to start the season and we all know that the best part is the snack bar or in my case the candy bar. Whether you are out watching your little quarterback run across the field or your favorite football team on TV, having snacks is a must. I’m a big fan of chocolate and thanks to Sam’s I was able to grab a big box of SNICKERS® bars (48 count) and a huge bag of MARS Chocolate assortments, that had 105 fun size chocolate candy bars and surprise my guys while they had their fantasy football draft; yeah that is big in our home, yours, too? #CollectiveBias
I kind of hang out on the sidelines during Monday night football. I’m the catcher that brings all the drinks and snacks, so my guys would always be ready to cheer on their favorite team. Sam’s had one of the guy’s favorite snack in a HUGE 48 count box and in my house this won’t last long. I also grabbed a variety of MARS Chocolate for myself and anyone else that isn’t hooked on Snickers.
As a mom, we always worry about healthy choices, so besides candy bars I added a few favorite fruit choices and some other treats to spoil my guys while they are cheering on their favorite team OR when each of their favorite teams play against each other; That’s the best. I just chuckle when I hear them go against each other and quietly grab some candy cars and sit back, it’s a sight to see. I bet you know exactly what I’m talking about. I’m the ref during those games.
Whether you are counting down the days till your favorite team starts to play, the pre-season or just the little league football with your favorite All Star player, it’s always fun to add a few sweets to make it a sweeter experience.
Are you ready to play some football? What treats would your Family enjoy from the different chocolate candy bars that we picked up? After all, football is more than a game!

Nothing is better than football and chocolate! You had me with the Snicker’s bars. They always remind me of my grandparents because they often had Snicker’s at their house on Sundays when we watched games.
Snickers bars are probably my favorite candy. I love all the choices you put out for the guys!

I don’t even wait for football season to roll around. I am a sucker for Milky-Way. I love that nougat center. I have put Milky=Way in my homemade ice cream and shakes. Sometimes, just sometimes, I chop a small bar up very small and use it to sweeten my cereal. Shhh, don’t tell because I don’t let my kids see!
