Oh my, it is hard to believe I’m thinking about back to school, even harder that I’m actually writing about it. This year has gone by in a blink and I wish I could just make it stop. We have about 3 weeks left and we will be heading to school. A lot of things to get done before we all can get back into the school routine.
I decided since I’m already thinking about how to handle the back to school routine this year I would share all the tips and ideas that I came up with so you don’t have to worry and can enjoy your summer a little longer, how is that?
So once you are set to get back to school, I encourage you to take my printable with you when shopping at Walmart so you can pick up all the important items that you may want to be stocked up on for the next few month to make the summer to fall transition easier. I promise you it will be easy and everything is available right at your local Walmart, one stop shop, and you are stocked in your freezer and fridge. I did all the hard planning for you.
See, the shopping list is fairly easy, organized but oh so amazing. I even added our favorite products that we think are always a must in the fridge for easy breakfast ideas or snacks after school. My tips are high protein snacks or meal solutions for your children and family with high quality and low effort. What more do you want? It really is simple and I paired the State Fair® Corn Dogs for lunch or the Jimmy Dean® Pancakes & Sausage with a quick Fruit & Veggie salad that sure will impress your kids and their friends.
Best part, it looks fancy but is so simple to make. You could make my Fruit & Veggie salad the night before and serve it for a quick breakfast in the morning with the heated up Jimmy Dean® Pancakes & Sausage. My kids loved it and I know yours will, too. In a hurry for a snack after school? Grab the State Fair® Corn Dogs and my Fruit & Veggie salad and you have yourself an amazing, delicious, super fast snack idea. How cool is that? Two different meals, one time cooking and you will get all the thanks you’s from your family.
I also decided to make a few additional printables. Check them out and print them so you will be all set once the bell rings in a few weeks. Hopefully that will help you get the kids back into a school routine. I hope it helps you as much as it has helped us. My daughter is 8 and, thanks to my check lists, is ready for her first day in 3rd grade.
I can honestly say this year I’m ready, between my simple meal and snack ideas to the bedtime routine and all the back to school items I’m pleased how smooth everything went. We are excited for what the new year has to bring. How about you?
Would love to hear how you liked our breakfast and snack ideas and how your family enjoyed the State Fair® Corn Dogs or the Jimmy Dean® Pancakes & Sausage and what favorite sides you like to dish up alongside these amazing protein snack or meal solutions.
