Barney: Big World Adventure the Movie

He’s back. The big purple dinosaur has another movie, called Barney: Big World Adventure the Movie. This movie was released just a  few days ago on September 13, 2011.

Climb aboard a big balloon with Barney, Ben and Emma as they embark on a super-dee-duper world adventure! The friends visit everywhere they can imagine in this all-new movie! Together they encounter princesses and kings, musicians and magicians, puppeteers and artists across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas. As the trio experiences new cultures and languages from around the world, Barney demonstrates the importance of the most universal language of all: friendship.

This new Movie DVD runs for about 59 minutes and can be played in English or Spanish!! There are also bonus features on this DVD.

How did we like the show?
I know, some of you do not like Barney at all, but I must admit, my kids and I always enjoyed Barney. of Course the Tween and Teen wouldn’t watch it with us now, but the Toddler loved it. This is just a wonderful time travel through different countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and America. You know Barney and his big imagination. Barney has always been big about imagination and that makes it so much fun to watch. My Toddler will stand up and pretend she is flying with Barney or exploring the country. We had a blast watching this new Movie; the movie runs for 59 min.

Did you know that Barney has it’s own Facebook Page?I also found that if you go to Barney.com, you can play games and have fun in actually 7 different languages. I had no idea. That was super cool. I’m sure this will come in handy if you are teaching a different language like we are. Loved it!

  7. My 3 year old would love this movie. She’s watched some Barney movies at school, but so far, we haven’t added any to our collection at home yet.

  9. My daughter LOVES Barney and has quite a collection. She underwent surgery on her leg last week and we had Barney DVDs on the whole time she was in the hospital (it drove the nurses crazy but helped her to feel a bit better). She would love to win this new Barney movie!
