Battle of the Blogs …. who is Softcity?

Thanks to all my wonderful readers and followers and of course family and friends, we have accomplished something I would have only dreamed about years ago. Most of you know that 2Boys+1Girl=OneCrazyMom won the Battle of the Blogs 2010. The contest was put on by SoftcityCafe.

A lot of you probly have never heard of Softcity Cafe and I have to be honest, till the contest, I haven’t heard about the wonderful community they have over there, either.

I just wanted to take a few minutes and introduce you to SoftCity and the community, just so you get an idea of  what wonderful things they do.

SoftCity Café, a community of software enthusiasts sharing their knowledge, tips and passion from Business to creative to even home & gadget, someone somewhere in this community knows and has an answer to share. Anytime you have a question or are trying to research any new technology, SoftCity would be a wonderful place to go to to get the answer.

SoftCity is the world’s first Social commerce community built around software experts with a goal of a better software experience for all. Imagine a place where you could get advice, buy the right program for you or your business.

Soft City also has a great reward program, that pays you back. If you are a member of the Soft City community, which Membership is free by the way, you can earn what they call Soft Dollars, you can pick up Soft Dollars and rewards quickly just by contributing in the community.  Whether you are asking a question or posting an article for discussion, it’s their way of thanking you.   They want to even  take this one step further by offering you even more rewards for each question you ask, for each like you place, for each vote you cast, just for being active in the community will earn soft dollars and many more cool rewards.

What can you use the soft dollars for you ask? Well, they are like cash, once you reach 6000 ( 1000 =$1.00) you can turn them into discounts at the Market place towards software and programs. During the battle of the Blogs , they had a great event, you were  able to donate your Soft Dollars for a good cause, I donated all of mine for Youth of Technology, which is a wonderful thing and I’m not sure if that is a normal event that you can  donate your Soft Dollars, but I think it would be for a great cause if this is an every day option.

All in all, this is a wonderful place where I will most defiantly hang out a lot more with all my Ipad questions that I have. Oh speaking of Ipad, yes I won the Ipad through Soft City for being in First place in the Home & Gadget category, it’s an awesome product, but… anyone who signs up for Softcity,  has the chance to win their own Ipad!!!! SoftCity is free, so why not enter for your chance of an Ipad.
