love these simple Protein packed Blueberry Muffins with oats and yogurt

A few weeks ago I shared a recipe that my guys love after working out, the Banana Chocolate Shake was a big hit after their workouts and this time I decided to make them another sweet treat. Since both my husband and my Teen work our regularly and watch what they eat, protein is always in our cupboards. It just so be it that my husband’s favorite protein is Premier Protein Powder. He was super excited when he heard that I would pack his favorite Blueberry Muffins with the powder. At first he didn’t think it would work well, after all he likes his shakes, but I think I convinced him and proved him otherwise.

simple way to add some protein to your Blueberry Oats Muffins #Recipe

The Premier Protein powder has 30 grams of protein per scoop, only 180 calories, 2g of sugar per scoop, is Gluten-free, has No artificial flavors, colors or sweeteners and can be mixed with water, used in a smoothie or cooked with it! Its truly versatile and we love adding it a few times a week to make sure everyone gets enough protein after their workouts.

I told you it was super easy to make didn’t I? Took me no time at all and while the muffins were in the oven I cleaned the dishes and I was done in no time. My guys had a big smile on their face when they got home from the gym. I think they even teased their workout buddies with a few pictures of my muffins.

You are correct, very simple to make. I thought they tasted great, but were a little bit dry. Would it work to add a little bit more yogurt, or a little bit of Premier liquid protein?

I added more yogurt to the last batch and it worked well, you could add some applesauce for moisture as well. Glad you checked it out, love hearing how things work for others 🙂

Muffins are one of my favorite things to bake, but I often feel guilty because they’re not very healthful. I love the idea of adding protein powder for added nutrition! Thanks so much for the recipe.
