I know I’ve been back home for a few weeks from my wonderful trip to Minnesota, thanks to General Mills for allowing me to attend the Box Top University.
I have been wanting to share my experience with you about the Dinner Cruise that General Mills had put on for me and 13 fellow bloggers. It was an amazing time to get to know the Bloggers and the General Mills Box Top Team as well.
But what blew me away was the beauty of Lake Minnetonka; it was just breath taking. Here we are in the Minnesota, the weather was just perfect around 75F, we are out on the lake with an awesome sunset, no bugs, mosquitos and no rain in sight.
It was a wonderful evening and I just could not get over that at 9PM it looked like it was 5PM in Florida. Amazing how long it stayed light and how much you can do after 5PM.
We had our dinner cruise on a Thursday evening and the lake was packed, there were little boats, big boats, dinner boats, sail boat races and so on; something I’m not used to from Florida. Down here we all rush to the office, rush home and then off to bed we go. It was soo cool to see people on the street enjoying the beautiful evening with family and friends.
I just had to share some pictures with you guys so you can share in my excitement of how beautiful this dinner cruise was. Kelly our PR person for General Mills did an amazing job of putting it all together and coordinating this event for us…
If you are ever in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, spend some time at the lake and relax… it sure was relaxing to me and the fellow bloggers.
