Chicken Soup for the Soul–Food and Love (Book review & Giveaway)

February 23, 2012 By Melanie Roberts 20 Comments

Chicken Soup for the Soul: Food and Love: 101 Stories Celebrating Special Times with Family and Friends… and Recipes Too!

We received another wonderful book from Chicken Soup for the Soul in the mail the other day and I must admit, I haven’t been able to put it down. I took the book with me to the office for my lunch breaks, to Dr. visit and anywhere I had a little wait time. This book is just wonderful. The stories between Food and Love are just filled with that..Lots of love!

There are 101 Stories celebrating special times with Family and friends and yes, recipes, too :0). The stories in the book are from Mom and Dad, Newlyweds, kids in the kitchen and so much more. I loved one of the first story in the book where the Dad had never cooked before but started watching the Food Channel and wanted to create something special like Bobby Flay.. the love in the story was just amazing and it made me think of how my dad was and how much I miss my family.

What an amazing book, if you like the Chicken Soup for the Soul Series, this is defiantly a book that you will enjoy.

I love these books, good stories and perfect for getting just a little reading in here and there versus forgetting where I was in a longer book.
