Oh My! Have you checked the calendar lately? I can not believe we are at Christmas time. This sure snuck up on us. I had so much to do this Christmas Season, but I took some time out of my busy schedule today to not only call it done with the shopping, the wrapping, the cleaning and all the other stuff we want to get done before Christmas but to call it Family time, too! I wanted to make cookies and have some fun.
I grabbed my daughter and we spend all day hanging out. We made these delicious Christmas Cookie Kisses. They were super easy and after that we sipped on hot cocoa and watching our favorite Netflix movie while relaxing and enjoying Christmas time together. I for once turned the phone off, unplugged the computer and just spend time with the family. I’ve been wanting to do that all season and time almost ran out.
Here are a few of the movies my daughter picked for our Family evening:
-
How the Grinch Stole Christmas
-
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas
-
Four Christmases
We had so much fun with our Christmas Family evening and here is the recipe for the Christmas Cookie Kisses, they really were a big hit with my entire family and so easy to make. Christmas Season can be amazing, just make sure you treasure the time you have with your little ones. They grow up way too fast, make time NOW!
Now there’s only so much time new presents will keep the kids entertained, but starting December 23rd,DreamWorks Trollhunters is giving families 250+ epic moments to fill family downtime. Try to master all 26 episodes and 13 hours before the holidays end, create your own battle gear or satisfy your sweet tooth. My daughter loved it!!!
I hope we gave you lots of ideas to keep the kids busy and entertained this Holiday Season and also lots of ideas how to spend time together as a family. I would love to hear how you spend time together with your loved ones right around Christmas time. Leave me a comment below.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!!
