On our 2nd day to countdown to Christmas Eve, we opened our book and Sad Santa by Tad Carpenter appeared.
For Santa, December 26th was a horrible, awful day.
It was THE WORST DAY OF THE YEAR.
Santa gets the post-holiday blues … When the toys are all made, the presents handed out, the Christmas cookies eaten, and the stockings unhung from the chimney with care … Santa is miserable. His reindeer and elves can’t lift his spirits, and even a vacation with Mrs. Claus doesn’t do the trick. Will Santa ever feel like his old holly-jolly self again? This quirky, funny, and completely unique picture book by hot young hipster illustrator Tad Carpenter will appeal to kids and parents alike.
Why be Sad Santa? This was a fun, yet different book; I loved that the book was all about “The Spirit of the Season is about Giving, caring and living as if it were Christmas every single day!”… WE LOVED IT!!!!
You can grab your very own Sad Santa by Tad Carpenter book through Amazon.com or any bookstore near you; this book retails for $14.95 and shouldn’t be missed in your Christmas collection.
Don’t forget to come back tomorrow to count down to Christmas Eve with us.
